Hmmmm...an ult with the range of the diameter of your base on a low cool down. A long ass snare. An annoying passive. And a shield that costs 60 mana that gives a shield on the way forward and the way back. Not to mention she is incredibly easy to play and you have to be a total dipshit to get caught in the early game.

Stop complaining. If anything she is actually one of the top mages at the moment. If she gets too strong she will get nerfed into the ground.

The 130 mana cost is there so that when you play Lux you actually have to have a brain and manage your mana.

this threads a joke, every one of her skills require her to land a skill shot. tired of being killed? then buy a banshees or run cleanse vs a lux and its gg. Who cares how much damage she can do if she can be 1 hit by almost anyone, its not out fault your team is too stupid to focus and kill a squishy mage.

just like kids saying shaco was OP and broken in urf when u can use sweeping lens every 15 seconds that lasts 10 seconds, not our fault you guys refuse 2 use direct countering items

You have a 130 spell cost none of those mages have those kinda mana issues. All those mages also have waveclear( besides lb). Lux has subpar waveclear honey play her and tell me you dont get your lane pushed in

For the pros, when they want a long range mage they seem to prefer Azir and AP Kog'maw. I think it's their objective munching ability that seperates them from lux/xerath/ziggs etc.

Problem Lux faces soloQ is the number of people who build stupid things on her for cool value, and the people who want to play her as ziggs in lane. Lux's E is not Zigg's Q, you should get in the enemy face and hit it and then proc your passive. Use your shield. You'll win trades. Then stop building chalice and mejai's and muh 40% CDR. Build item 3040 item 3285 item 3089 and get item 3158 and CDR Quints/glyphs. If you're not able to waveclear with her E... this is why. You're not building the firepower.

I'm not entirely disagreeing with you. Lux is infuriating to play against in a lot of matchups. But this is pretty uncalled for. She's in a pretty good spot in my opinion. Her strengths ARE in her long range and crowd control, but she has:

Long cooldowns
Basically all skillshots
Squishies
Will not win all-ins or ham strats

I don't even play Lux. But I'll defend her. What we should do however, is buff other mages.

I become quite mortified if i end up facing a lux in any game..i swear for every death i avoid from another player her ult is guaranteed to kill me next because i can NEVER see that sht coming, and its even worse if she manages to get you out of sight (like in the unwarded jg or something).

Definitely not one of the top mages, but she's a pretty strong pick. She puts out a lot of damage and is immobile to balance that. Mana cost on E IS pretty high and might see some tweaks, but she's not in a weak position. Nobody wants to see her spam that shit earlygame.

How could she be easier than someone like annie or karthus? Lux literally only has skillshots.

lux is a pretty balanced mage. entire kit is skill shot, good range to keep her safe but if she gets jumped on she will still die.

personally id like her ult to do more dmg, but thats just me being biased. she is perfectly fine.
