Ranked and MMR system

This whole MMR things is severely flawed. I stopped playing for awhile last season and now when i play ranked i am stuck in bronze 4 due to this? going 7-3 in promos and going negative by 1 death in one of my lost matches. You lose too much MMR just for losing a game but when you win a game you get very little of your MMR back. where is the logic in that? to want us to not lose? it seems more like you're going to lose alot of your players do to this system. least you could have done is given everyone a fresh standing MMR wise instead of screwing us. This is just my personal opinion. especially noticing a friend of mine who is newly playing ranked lost every game but 2 and got bronze 2. This makes us players who want to play the game and work hard in our ranked matches want to give up.
