Riot, your leveling dynamic queue system is effectively broken.

I decided to level a secondary account that was more focused because on my main account there is a wall of champion icons that you get lost in when you are trying to select a champ in draft. I play basically around 16 champions anyways, and thought it would be a good idea to just practice with one account and climb with the other. I own a grand total of six champions on this new account, so until recently I did not have enough champs to queue in the new system. I started playing on this queue at about level 25, and here are my horrifying results.

Of seven games I have played: Two of them were regular normal type games Two of them were against a team of three or more. Three of them were matched with gold - diamond players, mostly on the other team.

  1. I don't have full runes.
  2. I don't have full masteries.
  3. My MMR can not possibly be that high after playing 7 games and losing 5 of them.
  4. Why the hell and I being matched with much higher elo players?

Op.gg me if you want the full details of this mockery of a queue system. I am a smurf. I did expect to climb some sort of leveling queue ladder, or even face some level 30 towards the end. I did not expect for the queue to be this screwed up.

This is generally unfair to people who are leveling accounts to have to face much more skilled players. Not me, I am a dirty smurf who deserve to be stomped by these people, but I really feel bad for the actual new players who have to suffer through being flamed for rightfully sucking, and having little to no chance at winning the game. Fix your system please. This is not a good new player retention model.

When you smurf it only takes around 3 games for the system to recognize you. Not only did the system see you were not a lvl 25 player but it decided to place you with golds to see where you should really be, this is just a trial and error that will shift over games. Also it will not place you on win/ loss, it will place you as a smurf in a similar way the grading system does and just checks your basic in game contribution.

I know this because it happened to me Proof

You smurfed, and they aren't going to let you shitstomp people for fun.
