Very difficult to get BE and buy new champions.

So I've been playing League for 3 seasons now (season 8 being the 4th). As of today I own 57 champion, I didn't really spend my IP to buy champions I bought runes instead. But I realise that this might have been a mistake. I made a new account and you I think 3 free champions after that you get some BE to buy one maybe two more and this your BE is gone. I'm at 480BE now, imagine if I wanted to buy Darius, who is 4800BE. I'll have to wait like weeks maybe a month to get the BE by leveling up and selling all of my champion shards. This to me is a very bad system, because is now encourages people to buy it with RP instead.

How do I get BE to actually buy a champion I want instead of waiting till I get it in a chest which is a 1/133 chance or something. What do you think about this system?

" This to me is a very bad system, because is now encourages people to buy it with RP instead". This is not a good arguement lol, Riot wants us to buy RP. The problem is botting in co-op vs ai, that dramatically increased after BE as a main currency implementation.

IMO:

The blue essence system is better if you're just starting out, slightly worse if you're 'in the middle' (as OP is), and significantly better if you already own all champions.

Perspective wise, I didn't finish acquiring all champs until right after S8 preseason ended, and I began playing during the S2 preseason. So that's a solid 6 years of grinding in order to get all champs, and I did buy a few (less than 10 I'd say) with RP.

Yeah I agree it's way better if you own all champions. But for people like me we do not own all champion it's really difficult to get a new champ though. BE goes very very slow compared to IP (rip ;() Hope this will change in someway though. I just had a level up and I earned a champion capsule as usual but the only thing that was in there was 450BE, no champions shards. So I played like 10-15 games or something and I earned 450BE in total.

This isn't even true. BE earn rate is about the same as IP used to be, and that's if you ignore the frequent missions that give more BE and other currencies, and the discounts you get if you happen to have the champion shard for the champion you want.
