Is Nasus's E (Spirit FIre) supposed to be unable to pop Banshee's Veil? I was playing Nasus and the enemy mid lane Cassiopeia bought Banseeh's Veil. I figured it would be pretty easy to pop it with my E, but nope! This got me killed a couple times as I was not sure I hit it the first time.
Is this intended, or is this a bug? It lead to us losing a rather close game, and I really want to know if I am just an idiot or what.

Yes, it's intended. While there isn't perfect consistency, things that simply happen to an area and deal continuous damage won't break spell shields. Some other examples are Tormented Soil, Make it Rain, and Sanguine Pool.
Though I will say that due to Spirit Fire's unique effect of doing direct damage up front, that damage should be blocked by spell shields.
Ahhh, Thank you so much!. Makes for rather an awkward interaction as I figured the burst of up front damage would pop the spell shield. If not completely pop the spell shield, it should at least put it on a 5 second cooldown or something. Oh well, lesson learned.
