Riot please, i'm sick of AFK'ers throttling my LP!

[slayer-jinx-unamused] I'm not happy.

Riot, over the past few days i've suffered through the toxicity of the Community because... its league, you learn to shrug it off after a while. But GOD DAMMIT i'm getting tired of AFK'ers!

Sure, they will get a slap on the wrist for leaving the game, but it had a massive demoralising affect on the rest of the team. There needs to be a system where players caught in a disadvantaged position can leave sans LP-penalty. Quite frankly i'm just tired of having to headbutt a brick wall because a 4 v 5 is just too difficult to counter later game nowadays.

I'll give you an example... Ranked game: The Lee-Sin jungler at 2 minutes decides to sleep at his desk and goes afk, occasionally coming back only to rape the jungle of its goodies and stand in lanes devoid of enemies to reap the rewards that come from minions. At 9 minutes he is gone entirely. Our bot lane now has to deal with a Jungler, Support and the ADC perpetually. I'm top lane fighting off a Tank akali ( Seriously, what the hell? )and the mid laner Pantheon. Needless to say we got slaughtered.

I'm of the opinion that there comes a distinct moment where,you cannot fight back, such as when the enemy gets 5 dragons, all towers and 2 inhibitors and has you praying to nagakabouros to make the end come quickly... which was our situation. And we still could not surrender and leave with dignity intact because someone had that overly peppy "Stay positive and we can do this" mentality that makes me want to reach through the screen and choke someone.

Its bad enough that you have made it so that Juggernaughts are practically immortal, AP items cost an arm and a leg to buy, Tank akali ( SERIOUSLY, THE HELL?! ) and items that are just imbalanced as all hell... dont make us have to suffer 45 minutes of useless flailing in a pointless conflict that cannot be resolved as a win!

Im a bit surprised but out of my past 10 games, 7 of them had an AFK. Not always on my team, but regardless its not fun.

It really isn't. Its worse when someone is toxic enough to add to that AFK count. There are so many times i've wanted to leave because the enemy are at this point just eating me alive in 4 v1's but i cant for fear of punishment

Riot needs to remain some what lenient on AFK's until they know the cause of the AFK. (Cause they don't want to punish someone who's simply had there computer/power/internet die on them.)

Riot can't give out Loss forgiven just because of an AFK. (Something they really only give out when there servers Fck up) As much as people hate losing LP due to an AFK. Giving out an AFK just for that, could lead to abuse cases and toxicity. (When a nefarious player Rages at another. Hoping they would just disconnect so that they could not loss LP.)

[zombie-brand-clap] Riot basically has very few options in addressing this issue. Yet at the same time, There are probably convinced that the actually LP difference isn't an issue. Since statistically, There is an Equal and opposite chance of there being an AFK on the enemy team. and you winning off of that. Meaning the LP would level out.

I believe they should be able to identify whether someone purposely AFK's or not fairly easily, mostly because of in-game chat. I believe on these cases of obvious intentional AFK, the punishment should be immediate and very strict. Once it is well known that "AFK=Extreme Punishment" release a new system that AFKs now result in a Loss Prevented for everyone but the AFKer.

That way you can't really abuse it, if someone knows they will be instantly and severely punished for AFKing, they wont do it even if being seriously harassed.

[zombie-brand-mindblown] I know investigating a few games will be painful, but if Mid gets ganked twice in a minute and a half then puts in All: "OPEN MID" and yells to their team that they are going AFK or that sort, then there should be consideration there, or penalize if people make the error of screaming their proof (and if you are following their stream, which is another point of stupid in my view, which I'll go over momentarily), they SHOULD be penalized, but in most cases, they aren't.

Now for the other point I just brought up... when you go into game and advertise your stream (especially you high elo mothers...), don't rage on your team when 'the enemy knew I was in this bush'! Because there are a few folks who would happily look up your stream and keep an eye on that just to troll you. "There's a Delay!" Yeah, but it's not a 3 minute spectator delay, it's a few seconds at best... a CONSIDERABLE difference. But that is another issue for another day.

I put THIS up the other day, but didnt get much attention. I feel like this is something Riot should look at and contemplate. Wont fix all AFK issues but will curve some of the LP loss and reduce frusteration
