New Champion Select System

Riot, I was trying out the new champ select system with my friend and I first got kicked out when the system lagged. Then, I tried again, I selected a champion but didn't lock in, thinking that it would lock in by itself, however, I was kicked from the game and banned from entering champion select for 15 minutes. I wasted at least 30 minutes finding a game, getting kicked, finding another game, getting kicked again, and waiting. Please make it so that the system would automatically lock in if i didn't lock in but have already selected a champion.

alternatively, start locking in your picks.

In addition, because of people like me, forgetting to lock in and relying on the system to lock in, people like you would have to suffer through 30 minutes searching for games. Therefore, this is not only an issue effecting my games, this will be an issue effecting your games as well. A simple auto-lock in system, like the one they had before, would solve this problem. I mean, why take it out in the first place?

it's only day one of the new queue, i've got the patience to wait for you to get used to locking in regularly. and the auto-lock system was flawed because people would panic and pick a random champ last second, when realistically it would be better for everyone if they just dodged. also, people have gotten into the habit of not locking in and just letting the timer tick down, which makes champion select take much longer than it needs to. once people get used to locking in their picks once they pick them, everything should speed up significantly

i remember reading that you must now lock in your pick or else there are consequences on a lot of sites and a lot of articles. where have you been in the last week?
