How the fuck do players with a 3 tier difference get matched in the same game? Just give me the longer queue time so I can save myself from some chat restrictions.
It's all about mmr and Rito matchmaking doesn't care about your rank.

Ahh flex queue. They probably aren't 3 tiers apart in flex though, op.gg only shows soloqueue rank right?
Plat I in Ranked Flex getting matched with Gold IVs after coming out of ten provisional games with opponents / teammates that were Diamond IV - Plat II. It's great.
My experience in flex queue is the same. Matchmaking seems very off. Games are blowouts
Btw it would be interesting if there was an option for a longer queue time but no MMR system for ranked/pvp games i.e. you could decide what matchmaking system you prefer. Although riot simply doesn't like extra stuff as its not cost-efficient regardless of how much balance issues it can save. Can't even believe they run the most played game in the world :/
i hit silver last year, decided to play one game after i won my 3 promos, got placed against 2 diamonds and a master, meanwhile our team bronze, silver, and 1 gold
