fizz ult hitbox

I feel like the hitbox on fizz's ultimate is a little off. Everytime I sidestep it seems to still hit even though the fish is clearly far beside me. Is this a bug or just a known problem?

i never see fizz anymore so idk what to say to this but atleast its not like it was when he was first reworked

Im pretty sure the hitbox gets bigger the farther it travels. Or I just made that up...

It has always snagged when it missed. Riot "Fixed" it a while ago but even after that it still snags if you get close and not actually on it.
