Not all chests have essence.

Was it the 5 or 10 box bundle? 5 comes with essence and 10 comes with an extra chest

Never got my bonus essence either. Got Corporate Mundo, DJ Sona, and Spectacular Sivir with Talon and J4 for the champs. No eseence to upgrade to Veigar Greybeard :(
