Fizz losing identity
I completely understand the need there was for a nerf on Fizz, he was just crazy scary after only 1 or 2 kills, even if behind, but now he is losing his assassin identity. He lost over 50% of the damage on his q, got his w altered/nerfed to where the active does % health damage w/ no grievous wounds. Compensation? A 6 second 20% damage buff to a champion tagged with his ultimate. It's essentially what was done to Kassadin, in regards to breaking his legs, but handing him some crutches and pretending everything is all good. Fizz is now becoming this weird % health damage fighter that is either succeed or fail hard. That's not what Fizz is, yeah it's a secondary option and can be fun at times, but his assassin play style is what I preferred, which is now taking a backseat to this new fighter Fizz. I have to believe that this is just an unfortunate and unintended result of the nerfs, not something Riot is intentionally creating. I'm not saying "buff Fizz, buff Fizz," but something needs to change to bring relevance back to what was his primary play style, assassin.
*edit: A little clarification in regards to the poll, by "preferred play style when playing Fizz" I'm referring to in general, not which one is stronger. So as an example, though AD Fizz seems to be stronger, I do still prefer his assassin play style because it's what piqued my interest and got me playing Fizz.
. There, now you deal a bonus 50 + 8% target's missing health + 8% target's current health PER HIT. Manage to land an ult on them first? It's 60 + 9.6% target's missing health + 9.6% target's current health per hit.
