Riot, Teemo Could Be A Great Seller, if... (More in the article)

Dear Riot, creators of my favorite game,

Teemo in my opinion, is very cool, especially with his new_** Omega Squad Teemo**_ Skin out. But Riot, when I try playing him all I get from the game is insults for playing the** adorable little Yordle**. I believe this champ has high potential, but you really have to nerf him. I've always wanted to main Teemo, yet, it makes me feel so bad and evil... and I bet many others out there feel this way. Seriously, when I locked him in yesterday, I felt such guilt that I vowed never to play him again, unless, however, you nerf him, which brings him hope, and stop chastisement towards him. Riot, imagine the gain from this nerf. It doesn't need to even be that hard, just lower the time (or ditch) the blind, and maybe lower his AP ratios a little, and boom, you not only have more Teemo purchases in the community of your game, League of Legends, but also $money$ will be flowing in from the skin purchases.

Riot, please hear me out on this one, and nerf him for at least a week to see how it turns out. If it doesn't work, buff him back into Satan, but please, Riot, save my dream of playing Teemo, and being accepted into the League of Legends community without having a dodger or bully when I lock him in.

The reasons people don't play him have nothing to do with guilt, all nerfing him would do is make him less viable and decrease sales.

Teemo needs buffs, his R costs too much, and does not do enough damage. Teemo is off meta right now bordering on useability.

In a team fight what role does Teemo have? He is not tanky enough to be in the front, does not do enough damage or have the range to be a ADC safely, Does not have enough burst to be a good assassin, Teemo does not have the speed, dueling ability, tower damage, or wave clear to split push well.

Teemo needs to be Tankier to go top or do Jungle. Teemo would need more sustain, or improvements on R so that Teemo can have a better chance of a sucessfull gank. Teemo doesn't have the wave clear, or burst to do Mid.

Uhh, the reason he is actually commonly picked top because he completely shits on melees with his Q, range, and DOT from E. He's also a great pub-stomper due to the fact that players of a lower skill level don't know how to play passively, and he's one of those champs who can pretty much never be out-traded early game.

It's also why I think he doesn't need buffs, but a kit rework. His current kit capitalizes too much on people's mistakes, which pro-level players rarely make. By mid/late he's only good for his ward, and that's completely nullified the moment you use a true vision item or get Banshee's veil.

Man can this community not pick a side. I have a thread where someone is arguing with me and swearing up and down that Teemo is a weak champion, and there are many points that I agree with. He's been nerfed before, primarily in his shrooms that had their ratios nerfed a while ago... Ever since, Teemo's been falling further and further out of favor.

Although, Teemo is probably the most stable he's ever been, even if I still find him slightly ineffective in some ways. He still does lots of damage and can passively-aggressively poke someone down if they're not careful. If you know how to place his traps, then you can wreak all sorts of havoc and turn an enemy jungle gank into your double kill.

I personally find that people that play certain champions are scumbags, and that's not going to change. If someone mains Katarina in bronze, I find them to be scum that exploit a large group of players that don't have as much game knowledge. Likewise, I won't blame someone if they find Teemo, a counter to melee champions, toxic as a champion and say that I'm a bad person to play him. No matter what champion you play, someone's going to be mad at you. You play Annie, Zed, Fizz, Jinx, Thresh, Blitz, Kat, or Leona, you're exploiting broken champions or meta sheep. If you play Teemo, Vladimir, or Swain in the toplane, you're an asshole. If you play Teemo, Twitch, or Shaco, you're a troll. You play Urgot, Evelyn, Olaf, or Bard, you're bad at this game, or you're a troll and an intentional feeder. No matter what you play, someone somewhere is going to give you crap for it.
