When or if you see shaco ingame, you can click at him and suddenly see no items. Which means it's shacos ult clone. It's a thing that players can take advantage of and trying to trick players with shacos
clone might not work if the opponent knows the same thing as i know.

Pæan2 votesPartially the reason I started playing shaco and calling him my main jungler. I was playing mid-lane as Brand and my first jungle shaco teammate literally destroyed anyone that stepped out of position, this was bronze/silver mmr or lower and it was crazy. He never died because he was able to get away from anyone and kill anyone that dared follow him to a box. Shaco helped me get to plat where I am now and I love playing him. I have to actually care about positioning and think whether or not I can survive should I go in to nuke a carry.
If you aren't used to his kit then it will be rough, much like people with Ekko currently. Play him a few matches and learn the "tricks" and he really isn't as scary anymore. :D
Matezoide1 votesAh yes, i have used him quite a few times in the past (Not so recently) and he is incredibly fun. I really like how simple he is while having a massive skill-cap. Going up against a Shaco is still scary as fuck tho lol
One time i was Taric Jungle going against a Shaco. As i am doing my Blue, i leave a ward behind blue's wall and pay close attention to the river entrance's. As i am about to kill it, i enter the brush to have blue follow me, just to be safe.
I kid you not, the second i entered, Shaco was already there. He used an alternate (longer) route to get there without me noticing and i basically shat myself.
I flash and hide in a brush and begin to recall (Going through the jungle itself would be suicide because of red and his mobility. In the very last second, Shaco popped up and killed me.
The rest of game wasnt much different. It was like the dude was everywhere at once lol
Still got nightmares.

You can actually hop nearly any wall with his ultimate if you just click the other side while in the channel period. Hilarious to juke with when Q is on cd

Pæan3 votesOr you could just look and see which one has dragon buff. Literally the dumbest thing that my clone doesn't replicate buffs, even if he doesnot get the benefits, he should at least be identical so it's not as easy to tell them apart.

. Then teamfight broke out... "You have been slain" and I never got to know where did he come from nor where did he go. He didn't die. It's been a while but I still remeber that game because it's by far the scariest death I've experinced in League.

Yes. When you see Wukong with buffs suddenly lose them and stand still, he just used his stealth.
Edit; one of the reasons I think jungle Wu is inferior to toplane Wu.

It seems like wu's clone shows sunfire sometimes but not others (same with leblanc and abyssal)

Also, if you ping on them before they duplicate, then the ping will remain on the real one. Especially helpful for teammates.

"Say you ain't scared, but you know the truth, I do more damage from behind than John Wilkes Booth, I'll slice your skin off and wear it like a 3-piece suit, deceive your teammates, hop walls, avoid pursuit"
On a slightly more serious note, the clone will always face due North when it spawns initially, if you're observant enough you will always know which one it is. On another note, I want them to change Shaco's ult, and I have a terrifying great idea for it too. So they make it still have the "Pardon me for a moment while I stop existing" thing, but when that ends it spawns in a handfull of puppets that either deal no damage or a small fraction of Shaco's damage, and then the "perfect" replica of Shaco himself. Alternatively if that isn't nightmare inducing enough they could just make it like Phantom Lancer from DotA 2, you pick a ground target and then rapidly shift (while untargetable) to the location and spawn the clone on arrival.
