Change Nasus's Passive

He doesn't need that extra sustain. you're pretty much giving him tankyness, infinite scaling damage, and free lifesteal to boot? That is very unbalanced and near impossible to counter play seeing as how he out sustains and out trades most top laners through all stages of the game.

He's slow as all holy hell though, that's his weakness. He's got virtually no gank escape. Get your jg up there early and often and there'll be nothing he can do.

Might be slow but his wither is very strong. I think they just need to buff slows against dashes/hops... I posted this suggestion here

maybe buff a slow's duration if someone uses a dash ability while slowed. riven gets slowed she dashes. that dashed practically made .5 second of that slow irrelevant. so for each dash a slow's duration could be extended by .5 seconds? in other words a slow will only be factored over ground covered while walking.

What if I told you, his wither used to be stronger?

Having to rely on another player does not make it alright.

Relying on another player, in this case, works both ways. The player against Nasus all but needs early ganks, and Nasus's jungler almost has to be there to counter gank, or at least has to apply enough map pressure that the enemy jungler can't camp top lane. In all honesty every lane has to rely on other players, that's the essence of a team game.

It's a team game. Relying on other players is standard for pretty much every role.

Not in soloq.

Solo queue is just a game mode in League, which is a team game. Just because a random group of idiots can't work as a team doesn't mean it's suddenly not a team game.

Well, since you are likely complaining because you lost this game, you should probably know that Irelia is one of Nasus's safer matchups. She's quite dependent on attack speed (so wither is very effective on her) and she's weak early game (so she can't really bully Nasus). Essentially, you got counterpicked.

In addition, looking at the match history it looks like both of you essentially freefarmed the lane without either of you dying until mid-game, which is not how you play against a Nasus.

Though, I'm kind of confused how you had issues against Nasus later in the game. You had a slow on most members of your team, which should have allowed you to kite him in teamfights if you played them correctly, though I supposed the fact that every lane on your team lost probably had something to do with it.

There are a lot of top laners who can crush Nasus when player correctly. This is by no means comprehensive, but it's a decent start: Trundle Swain Akali Darius DrMundo JarvanIV Renekton Riven Teemo

For general advice, avoid pushing Nasus under his own tower, since that lets him farm safely. You want to get him away from the minions so you can freeze the wave and deny him CS. In addition, you want to call your jungler top to give you an early lead, which is pretty easy if you know how to make the wave push towards you and have some form of CC for the gank (most junglers won't give up a free kill).

Maybe make his passive scale per lvl. At a rate of .5 life steal per level. Giving him 9 at level 18. This would drastically nerf his early game.

So you want to make a weak Nasus hurt even more when he his weakest? Sound like a good solution... A good Nasus knows his weakness and will play around it, lifesteal just helps to manage all the damage he receives from in lane abuse cause he so slow.

If you want to beat a nasus go play riven or something, annie would rekt him.. Someone who has an assload of burst damage and a possible cc would help. Combine this with a gank and you got yourself a kill.

To be fair... sirchez can hold his own without buying any doran items often times. Going cloth 5.. Say you had nasus start with 1% lifesteal from his passive and gave him .5 lifesteal per lvl. With one doran blade, at lvl 6 he'd have 7% lifesteal. He'll just have to respect the opponent a bit like the rest of us.

Oops I just looked up his passive I though it was a flat 10% lifesteal through the game. It goes from 10 to 20%. So I'd just adjust the value to scale as 1% lifesteal per level in that case.

He NEEDS that life steal early to stack. Otherwise he would just have to be pushed under tower, and even then, when getting ranged creeps, he could easily be poked out. Without lifesteal, Nasus is very weak.

Just ban Nasus.
