So how is Kayle these days?

Hi was wondering if you guys can help me out please!

I hate top. I hate going top because it's the hardest lane for me. I used to play it and it worked for me but my champions have been nerfed/changed/weak. I used to top Fiora but then they reworked her and I don't like the rework (I have tried it, and she looks awesome but she isn't for me, I miss her :( ). I also used to Teemo top a lot but for some reason I struggle against a lot of the match ups lately and I have been doing research and Teemo is just weak apparently. He doesn't scale well into late game.

Then there's Kayle, how is she right now? Honestly, no biased answers please I just want to know how she is in the meta today and who she counters? I know she used to destroy Darius but can she still do so after her nerfs and his change? Who else does she destroy in lane? How is she against tanks? I know her passive is good for tank shredding but when I play her I don't really feel it.

I build (in order): item 3115 item 3006 item 3100 item 3124 item 3089 item 3116 (sometimes I substitute Rylai for Witts end)

What do you guys think?

shes reasonable but not exceptional, pick if you want too or you think she will do well.

Kayle isnt good right now. First off dont pick her unless you guys have tanks already. Second shes just mehhh

Never build Lichbane on Kayle. It works bad on her and the raw stats are meh. Take Wit's instead of it. Build Rageblade after Nashor's and boots. Kayle is pretty good. She can dominate the lane if against a melee (with some exceptions). Worse if the enemy has hard cc or gapclosers. If you go even then mid-late game you will defeat them. If you get a kill or two then you will be able to carry hard. Watch out for their jungle and always take TP.

Some champs that counter her in top lane are Wukong, Irelia, Riven if the player is decent, and any jungler with good ganks. She does well against tanks once you get some attack speed going. She is a direct counter to bursty assassins and bursty mages.

Early game you want to harass the shit out of them, and once you hit lv 2 you can easily get a kill. Her next powerspike is when she gets her Stinger and ult. You can all in them by that point and get out victorious. Then when you get Nashor's and a pair of boots you are able to 1v2 or even 1v3 with your ult.
