So, yesterday i got promo to silver 4, today i played 1 game with my friend who also was a promo to silver 4. We lost.. I've got down to 76lp and i was moved out of promo, my friend got to 86lp and he still is in promo. Can someone explain me why this unfair is here?
Weathered1 votesYou can't reduce down to 86LP and still be in your promo. Promos only happen at 100LP.
Also, the difference in LP that you both went to is because of your mmr. Your friend has a higher mmr ranking (from more won games or winstreaks), and therefore the system recognizes he may be more eligible to be climbing to a rank that he is meant to be at.

when you lose a match in the promos, you still lose LP. the OP must have lost 2 of the 3 matches while his friend only lost 1
DarkRitual1 votesDodging also gives a game loss in promos.
