Earning Blue Essence

I have been earning significantly less blue essence then I was ip from the old system. Previously i could easily earn 2.5k plus ip from a day of grinding, but now I earn around 1k a day. I feel like this will further punish new players and I don't like it so far. I would like to hear what other people have to say about it and which system people like better.

Edit: This is solely based on the rewards I know about as of now since I haven't reached a high level to see the better rewards that come with higher levels.

I think they should attach some kind of minimum to games (win/lose) other than that I don't mind the other changes.

New players don't have to buy runes and they get a lot of champions for free as they level up. I don't see a problem.

they should give us BE after each game, regardless of a win or loss and then we can get more from dismantling shards.

shards dismantling can give out several hundred, while winning or losing can give out something like 50 for a win and 25 for a loss. that way we are at least getting something for the input

Yea, RIOT, you really did us a number by kind of screwing us over on the reward gain of "Blue essence" This is extremely disappointing. Not only to Veterans of the game, but also to new players. Bring in some blue essence gain for at least playing matches, and finishing them. This whole thing needs to be addressed. Immediately.

Overall you should end with the same amount or more. Consider you play 2 games a day - win one lose one. You will lvl up (30->31) fo three days - 6 games and three wins of the day. In the IP system this is = 801 IP but in the new system it is = 810 (min) and 1300(max). So if you play a set number of games you will end up with more.

I was really exited about all the new stuffs and spend all my BE and now i discovered there are no BE after game... And now i'm like.. how i'm gonna buy a new champion? The only thing how to get BE is lv up, get capsule and disenchante the champion you get. I have to say that's pretty stupid :D. I guess riot want players to buy champion with RP :D

I agree that it punishes newer players. Those who make an account right now will be fine, to an extent. I have a buddy whom I got into the game a month or so ago. He just hit 30 a couple days before this patch. He is screwed, he had not been saving much IP because he was buying runes and champs trying to get to the 20 champ limit to play ranked.

Now with this new preseason he got crapped on and has such a low amount of BE. At this rate he will not be able to save to buy champs like he could of with IP gains. Due to him being lvl 30 already he isnt getting "extra champs". He also doesnt have a ton of BE to make the ones he is getting into Perm. I feel bad for the kid, he is much younger than me and in Highschool and he started playing because his school and others in my State are starting an ELeague.

I hate telling him that he would have to spend real money now. If I didnt spend $500 in this last year of playing, I too would be screwed. I feel anyone who started in Season 7 got the shaft hard core at this point.

I am sitting at 99k BE and refuse to spend it on the dumb stuff because I would like to buy more champs with it vs use it for flair.
