Honestly season 8 was depressing I really dont think anyone enjoyed it I feel that the game is honestly just going downhill. I feel really bad for a lot of players e.g marksman not even being able to play the game at one point. Aatrox mains when there champ was actually at a good state (before the rework) now hes only good in competitive play. I think this bounty system is terrible, I feel that its punishing me for having a lead, I feel crit is terrible atm, players are forced to play their mains in a certain way e.g I think its reasonable to say that GP players are forced to play bruiser with steracks and not go full crit and one shot like he used to. It was fun and I just enjoyed playing it but there may be some bias which I accept but full lethality runes were so fun. But overall I think as a whole the enjoyment of this game is in decline and is heading in the wrong path. I dont know what to say really its just really really sad at whats going on with everything. I dont feel Riot are listening to there community, I think they have ruined some reworks and the addition of new champs at this stage of where this game is at is only making problems worse.

nope... the sad fact of the matter is it isn't... anymore.. i may try to come back again when morg rework goes live.. but as of right now I'm just not enjoying the game when i play it... so why bother... the only mode i can play my main on is Nexus Blitz. Nidalee isn't remotely viable on rift.. sure if i hit lvl 4 without incident its no issue.. but thats the issue... her lvl 1-2 ARE soo weak right at the time when she needs to contest scuttle.

the scuttle changes ruined the game for me as a jungler and i can only support so often before i get bored of that.

neeko looks like she would be fun.. but her Q and her E are swapped to how i would put them, and im not going to bother trying to lern a new champion the the game in the shit state its in. i no longer have any hope riot will fix the game.. season 8 proved that to me. 5,6,7 i was trying to hold out hope the game would become the game i love again... but no... it wont... its way too far gone now..

i dont have fun playing it anymore.... there is nothing much else to say.

damage is too high games are too short... and my champion gets completely gutted indirectly because riot didn't want to actually touch the interaction of the item 3095 movement speed bonus that made ADC's abuse celerity.

so im done. idk why i put up with riot this long... i should never have came back after leaving in season 5

Not really and it lost the rewarding challenge half way through season 5 which is a large part of why the game grew to be as big as it did.

I think the bounty system giving you a bounty for farm is so dumb.

Yes, it is still fun. If you're not having fun, take a break or play a different champion. There are a lot of times when the game is frustrating due to annoying champions Sona Zyra Nami or bad players, but it's still entertaining to me.

No, but I'd argue that not only has that been the case since release, but that it's the case for competitive games in general.

People don't play League to have fun playing, they play to have fun winning.

Granted, what people consider "winning" can vary individually, from winning the game to doing impressive mechanical plays, or just improving your CS. As an aside, it's important to remember that this is a game, and your enjoyment of it is dependent on what you seek to gain.

As far as the state of the game, it's not more bullshit than it's always been. Dodge runes Jax, Sunfire Cape Evelynn, release Xin Zhao, Black Cleaver stacking, Feral Flare Udyr, Every time Ezreal has gotten an item nerfed/removed from the game, Deathfire Grasp, old Veigar deleting someone with R, every champion taking Thunderlord's Decree on release, Sated Devourer on-hit builds, the S5 tank meta, the time when 3 ADC was meta, Ardent/enchanter meta, Dark Harvest pre-nerf, Viktor top, and so on and so forth. There's always been something broken to play around, and eventually people either learn to play around it or it gets removed.

Currently, poke mages dominate bot lane and Conqueror crowds out other runes for most melee champs, mid favors DOT/poke mages because of Aery being the most reliable sorc rune, but the game is fairly stable. Dark Harvest has been nerfed, ADCS are in a spot where they're not doing 1000+dps at 30 minutes but they're not gutted either. Assassins and tanks aren't running wild like they were in previous seasons.

Basically, there are very few things in the game that should surprise you. You know Brand is going to do a lot of damage, that Darius is going to be hard to kill, that Pyke isn't a real support, and that you can play around it.

But do you feel that in terms of these issues Riot have not fixed these issues at a quick and effective state? If so I just want to know why they take there time. I do feel they have a lazy attitude at times.

Honestly, Riot's been balancing the game for #LCSBigPlays instead of balancing the game for their general playerbase.

I am here because I love the game and sad to see the state its in. And I never said I want adcs to be overpowered I said they dont deserve to have there class neglected which they have been for a while. Not matter what role you play you should never have your class be ruined.

Riot doesn't care how people feel. Alot of people are addicted to the game and keep playing, more over keep spending money on skins. If the players around are like me and my friends then they have stable jobs that pay relatively well, or perhaps just impulsive buyers. I use to to buy skins quite often because I have disposable income to waste. Alot of people don't think twice about throwing around 30 bucks or more a month on this game. And they'll continue to do it because it's a Skinner-Box game. I own all the Leona skins and was estatic about the new Legendary skin. But I didn't buy it because Leo isn't viable as a tank anymore, and I hate Riot because they ruined the game. But others don't have this kind of commitment to it. So here we are, Leo's skin sold VERY well from what I'm told. And Riot has more than enough addicted players to keep going.

It's not gonna change.

PS: Got off topic with my post about the games fun. No, it's not fun. It was and then Riot ruined the balance and have made all the wrong choices since then, so it's just circling the drain until something can save it. You'd think they'd have pulled one of those "Erase everything and try again" patches for pre-season but they seem to actually LIKE the way the game is now, weird, huh?

Collectors do. And as I've said, I own every skin for Leo because she and Vi were my mains. Some people would like to hold out hope they become viable again where the skin can shine. I'd like to play Leo bot or hell, Bruam/Ali. But tanks aren't viable so unless I feel like having fun and losing, I'll be slogging through and winning with Zyra/Brand hell even Annie.

I like the new bounty system.

You can't have everything. Play consistently good and you will carry.

I mean, before the bounty system a lot of games were meaningless. 1 guy had a lead and game was over in 13 mins.

Do you want to go back to Season 8 rage quit at 13 mins mode?

I do understand the bounty system but do you feel that at times if you farm well why should you receive a bounty for that? or making a crucial play you shouldn't be penalized with a bounty? maybe the gold amount is just to high?

I only play to have fun. screw the competitive assholes and the esports and ranking garbage. underneath the money, toxic, and what not is a game. a game that is crying cause player shit on it.

You make the best of it and not get upset. I believe they should do tweak on champions that needs love that's been left in the dust. Perhaps have a couple of theme choices for the map instead of the same one. I still have fun on this game than Hots due to how versatile it is. Poppy Jungle, Tristana Jungle and so many other experiments you can try out. Even another player with smite on the team not always following the norm and such.

After a while the game just gets REALLY repetitive. Because of this, I took a 9 month break and I’m only coming back now to the same routine.
