Event Loot should not contain already owned content

First off, I have really enjoyed the mission based events!

The problem I have is that I keep getting content I already own. This time when I purchased the Mega Orb with tickets I received another Red Baron Corki Skin, and now I don't have enough tickets to buy anything else. In the last event I unlocked Snow Day Ziggs.

They are both great skins, but I already own them. After working to get enough event currency to buy something new, I was quite disappointed.

I feel like with the unique nature of the events you should be guaranteed to receive unowned content.

Otherwise, keep up the great work.

^ This. I have so many skins in this game that during these events I usually just get shards for skins I already have, and new shards are always the old 520 RP kind of low quality skins, all of which are useless because I generally have a better skin for that champ. It's super frustrating.

I agree. I have been playing since Season 2 and I have bought quite a bit. The event missions take awhile to work through. After all of that grinding it is a big letdown to get a skin you already own.

How would yall feel if you got gems when you received duplicates during events?

That would not be a bad idea. Paying ip to reroll would be another option. I have a ton I will never use.

Gemstones are going to only ever grow in value to the player base. More skin exclusives more folks will want them. I'm not to fond of RNG dicking me over in unlocking a skin also cant say I like rng dicking me over with stuff I got unlocked. Having the gemstone as an extra for repeats from events shows a lil love to players who have either invested $ or a good deal of time into the game.
