Why is there not in game chat without using a third party program like in console games such as CoD?

I think there should be in game voice communication. It would make things a lot easier. You would think a game like League of Legends would have such a thing already.

So you know the rep for toxicity this game has, and all people that get (rightfully) banned for toxicity? Now imagine all the same toxicity, but now without the ability to be tracked and punished.

they tested it and according to riot (this was stated a year or so ago) that toxicity rose over 200% or some high ass number so they denied they implication of voice communications. Now its easy i can just opt out of using the voice comm or mute my teammate but i guess riot didnt feel like doing that? If you really want to just link people your curse or your discord channel if you care to talk to them so much.

I prefer not having voice chat honestly, I already hate dealing with scummy people in text chat, hearing their whiny voices would probably put me over the edge

If league had a monthly subscription for voice access, THEN people would watch their mouths, especially if it's expensive. I believe that a universal price of $9.99 a month would suffice. OR! We could even go as far as only $2.99 per week...just my two-cents. Would I pay for it? No. I have a habit of speaking my mind, and my mind is quite toxic and a bit on the arrogantly RUDE side [slayer-jinx-wink]

I just give people a link to curse voice in champ select. If they act toxic then I just kick them from the call.
