I pretty much only play support and love the challenge that it presents as a player. Now I am in no way coming out and saying I'm a great or even good player, but I hold my own pretty well. Even in matches my team loses I consistently get A's and even S's on a wide range of support champs. However, my biggest issue on support is the very toxic nature of the ADC/Support relationship. Don't get me wrong I've had some pretty awesome and friendly ADC's, but for everyone of those I also have the ADC's that spam the map when take a single CS trying to poke or protect them.

I even had a game last night where I played Galio Support, a champion I have a 60% win rate on as a Support no less, and I had my ADC from the get go trashing me in all chat, and and team chat that Galio isn't a support and how I'm trash. That same ADC died multiple times due to bad positioning, something the other team kept firing back in all chat whenever he would bash me. None the less that ADC ended up quitting and never came back, and we won the game 4v5 and I earned an S-.

Again, I'm not claiming to be a great player, I'm only a Bronze 1 ffs, and this ADC was a Silver 5, but the toxic nature of the ADC/Support is absurd at times. Even when the Support is doing their job, getting up wards, poking the opposing laners, and sacrificing whats needed for the team, supports can get grief. This support update/change can't come soon enough.

I think its cause you're in bronze. I don't have much interaction with my adc in silver. Of course every 15-20 games you get the one that bashes everything you do but I just ignore it and keep going cause I just don't care.

I'd say 5% of my ADCs have been like that over the last four years. Most of them don't even talk.

Honestly, anyone can get grief at any time no matter the role or performance.

As a support main, I've seen top-laners go 10/0 in the early game then get caught in one bad gank while splitpushing and end up 13/1 but get flamed for the ENTIRE game after that. I've seen junglers full clear their own jungle, steal enemy topside jungle, then gank top and get first blood but still get flamed by the bot lane because the enemy jungler ganked there instead. I've seen ADCs with 50-60 CS leads by 20 min get flamed for being down one kill.

It all happens, not just to us.

Me/sups- " ??? But I died for YOU!!!"

Thats when I ward bot lane and roam mid. Some adc's dont appreciate the fact that they got caught out and I die so they can excape...smfh
