Can't seem to win or climb

Hi there first off, my name is a joke. Don't take it too seriously lol. I've been having a hard time recently and I just can't seem to win or climb. I've been playing for 4 seasons now and I have managed to climb from bronze 5 to gold. I understand that I'm not amazing and I do have plenty of bad games but I just feel as if I'm getting so unlucky lately with the match making. I'll have games were I get a good start, maybe 3-0, get a first blood in the enemy jungle etc. and I just can't carry my games. For example in the last two games I've played I've had 4 teammates with a combined KDA of 6 and 37. I mean you just can't win games with that. I'm very polite and always try to give positive feedback or advice or to apologize when I make a mistake. I VERY rarely flame because that doesn't help at all, it just seems no matter what I do I can't climb. I know I make mistakes and I know I'm not the best but I feel as if with the good amount of macro play I know from years of experience and a decent amount of micro play I should be able to get higher then gold. I play these games at the gold level and I ALWAYS find my self playing with these people that can't even ward their lane, or don't understand how to utilize your minion waves. For example getting a kill in your lane and then not pushing it in to deny exp if you know you won't get ganked. Or like not doing dragon if you get a double kill bot lane in laning phase and the enemy jungler just showed top. I just can't seem to get anything accomplished lately. If anyone has some advice or even someone who would like to play some games with a competent jungler please let me know. Have a great day everyone.

You probably aren't doing a good enough job of communicating your game knowledge to the other players on your teams in game. Only about 1% of players actually know what should be happening in game and how to effectively execute a strategy. For the most part none of the people you will have on your teams will be capable of thinking these things for themselves so you might try being more assertive as a team leader and organizer. If they don't know to take drake after that double kill in bot lane spam ping it for them and type out that it's free for the next 20 seconds. If you gank for top lane and he tries to back right away after the kill because he's low on hp spam ping the minions and ask him to help push em up properly. These players aren't going to know to do these things, they don't have your experience, so go ahead and work on improving how you share this experience advantage with your teammates.

it takes me about a day to rise to B1 and end up back at B3

Try to watch replays of your games and see what you can improve on. Don't necessarily get into the attitude of winning games, as you'll eventually get frustrated. Focus on bettering yourself and naturally you'll begin to climb since you'll be so much better than your teammates and enemies. Just focus on improving yourself, because at the end of the day, rank isn't that important. Who cares if everybody else can see that you're gold, as long as you know you're good.

Except the part where people go 'lol you're gold' or 'lol you're only plat?'. The truth is that is about 60% of the time you're going to have teammates who are so unbelievably stupid that you won't be able to carry them. Sometimes you'll get lucky and the enemy team will have people who are even dumber. People will say 'it's not lucky to climb' but the fact of the matter is, for the majority if people who aren't pro players, it is luck. You just have to hope Riot doesn't bone you and give you the teammate who should be in bronze, but got lucky and a lot of people managed to hard carry him up to his position.

TL;DR - Pray to God you don't get people who are trash on your team and hope they're on the other one.

If you're more skilled than the people you're playing against, you'll climb. If you're generally stuck in an elo, it's because there is a lack of knowledge or execution somewhere. It is not always teams, in fact statistically you'll be around players around the same skill level as yourself.

@OP I'm just going to drop you a tip. Stop playing Lee Sin. You climbed with Vi primarily and now suddenly switched to champions that you are less comfortable/knowledgeable with. The other option you have is training to actually know the strengths and weaknesses of those champions, but that also means you are not starting at Gold elo level with those champions. If you are okay with that, then proceed.
