I just played a game where level 1 cass started harassing me from almost the whole lanes length. the after level 2 she got her second ability she just completely bursted me and killed me. I personally think she needs a nerf to her range, it competes with xeraths range but his abilities have a decent cooldown. I tried to surrender but our bot lane wouldn't do it after the 3rd time I left the game. I just think it's BS that she has such a long range I had to stay behind the tower by auto attack range. (about 550 units) just to stay out of harassment range from cass.

Cassiopeia's main damage source is her E; this has 700 range. Her other skills are all 850 range (except R, that's 825).

Xerath's LOWEST range skill is an instantly recasted Q at 750. Otherwise, his ranges are 1400/1100/1050/3200+.

I'm not seeing how Cass has Xerath tier range.

You just need to learn to play against her.

Boots counters her pretty well; if you avoid her Q, she can't spam E over and over.

The only thing I can say as a Cass main who has faced other Cass, is never stop moving. Don't stop for anything. Get the CS and get out before she Q's. Also helps not to be predictable. Strafe when you can.
