Riot placement system is faulty

Ok... so this isnt a typical rage thread about being unsatisfied where I ended up after my provisional placements games. At the end of the preseason I finished up in Plat 4 I belive, and with finishing my placements with score of 9-1 I got placed at Silver 2. My friend that I used to play duo with was the same MMR as me finished the provisionals with a score of 4-6 and he got placed in Gold 2.

Now, I presume that you will tell me I got placed in the MMR that I deserve and that my enemy teams had lower MMR and etc. And I say, yes you are correct.

But why did Riot keep placing me in the games with lower MMR even if i went 8-0 in one point? I could clearly see that my enemy laner was not on my level, and suspected that games were far to easy then what I was used to. I do not mind to climb the ladder in the next games, but I really think I should have been placed higher in the ladder.

I can only concur after this experience that Riot placement system has some critical flaws.

Maybe in the promo games you get paired up with random people in the server, and you get what you get after the games? Or is something evil behind this scheme? Veigar

I was placed in Gold 5

When Preseason ended I was Platinum 4 (when s5 ended I was gold 5) I climbed A LOT and I lost few games. My mmr was INSANE. I won 25+ LP per game loss near 10 per loss.

I read a post and it told me to just accept it. You're going to fall due to the reset. I've gone through this for 3 seasons. It gets easier... Dont worry about a thing. Every little things gonna be alright <3 You got this.
