How do you escape the hell of Platinum Elo

I was d3 on west last season , have played league since s2, soo after s6 started i decide to transfer my account to EUNE , and i havent played since begining of s6 , so i was back a couple month's ago , played my first 10 matche's and got into silver 1 , after couple of weeks i got into plat V , and i have been stuck in there from that point (2 and a half month) It seems that i just cant win a single game , if i get fed i lose , if i feed i lose, my teammates just flame at each other , pretending to be master's, Its just starting to be very boring , i win a few ,lose a few , get in promote , lose 7 in row ..... Thanks for any advice. I main

I'm new to plat. Most of the time i probably dont play well enough to win, but it seems like ill win a few lose a few, and then get to promos lose like 35 in a row lOL

I feel ya on staleness. Im only in silver but I feel what you say. 12-1 and two dragons in 20 min still lost game. IF I get all 3 inhibs bd still loose. Then I get those wins were I could sit in jungle all game and get free win! Ugg I'm not saying I don't contribute to some of my losses but I have over 50% and its getting old the series and rising then lowering! Amumu Nocturne Rumble

Haven't bothered trying to climb through Platinum due to the general toxicity.

I just hit Platinum 5 after ~50 games, spent a couple months playing normal games, then hit Platinum 4 after ~10 games.

Now, I'm just going to play a game or two before the season ends to prevent decay while practicing/playing in normal games. I find the players in them are far more positive and competent.

If it helps, you probably want the ability to roam around the map and assist each lane. I would probably rank the roles in the following order by influence:

Jungle > Support > Mid > Top > ADC

If you are wondering why I ranked Support above Mid-lane, that would be because I find bottom lane usually feeds heavily for one team or the other, so having a competent support can be greatly influential. Even if they don't manage to roam, if they can get their ADC fed or manage to go even, it makes the game far easier to win.

I can't help you but I have another question about Matchmaking.

I am silver and whenever I play ranked I constantly have to play vs gold, platin or even some diamond players. I'm pretty sure that it's 'cause of their MMR (MatchMakingRate) but I don't get the system. When I lose against a team of platin players, why should I lose LP in silver? I probably could get to gold but I can't get out of silver 'cause I have to play on platin rank. I don't get it.

There's no reason (IMO) that I lose LP when I play against higher rank players.

Looks like you have not played many ranked games so your mmr still rather high. Although its an estimate, your mmr is showing to be around (I believe) gold 5 level even though your rank shows silver 3.

Your mmr will go up or down based on wins or losses. The higher it is the higher ranked players you play. The good news is though, if you win you get more lp than you would from beating people your rank. You also lose less lp than you would if you lost to players of your same rank.

So honestly don't sweat it. Just try your best. You only have like 12 ranked games played.... and usually getting your rank straightened out takes awhile. If you keep winning you will rank up to gold much quicker with high mmr. If you lose your mmr will eventually drop lower and you will play lower ranked players, but you also get lower ranked teammates as well and your lp gains losses are worse.

I only gold, but have been told best role to carry in is jungle. And honestly I think it makes sense. You have access to most of the map and the power to control objectives.

2nd I hear is mid lane.

50% players I meet in Diamond are main jungle so I guess it means something. I main top but I doubt if it's good lane to carry game.

Platinum 5 - 3 is the worst place to be in the ladder, it's full of people who are boosted, uneducated, and rude. S6 ruined platinum, climbing used to be a lot easier but this choke point holds TONS of people back.

Low Platinum was a bit less toxic last season, but the players in it were definitely more competent.

When you have a Renekton mid-lane who goes 0-8 to the enemy Pantheon, rushes Randuin's Omen and continues trying to fight Pantheon near the enemy tower, all you can wonder is how much they payed for the boost.
