Wasn't sustain cancerous in LoL?

this is what I thought at first too, however I've yet to find a character that benefits more from 100% base hp regeneration than they would have with 20 HP/5. However, there are quite a number (84 out of 122 champions at level 18 and almost all of them if you get the item before level 11) who get less out of it. It's troublesome that you can't get a decent amount of regeneration in lane, because base HP/5 scales with level so that it's NEVER relevant :/ it'd be one thing if the change made regeneration better late game, but as it is the changes are just (yet another) Nerf to heath regeneration.

riven is getteng screwed over so much by these changes... she gets what, 3hp5 bonus for getting tiamat instead of 15 that it is now?

So? She can has no problem using lifesteal. She does not need an high HP/5
