Most of it is just a waste, though. This doesn't help me at all, it actually makes some of the more useful information smaller so we can see the champions better.

And they'd have to cut out spaces for each and every champion in the game to fit the spaces for them. Because the champions are also videos instead of just still images, you'd have to go back and do the other 80+ champions who never had a video in the first place.

This looks really cool and everything, but in my opinion, there are better ways to stylize the champion select screen and give more information doing it, and with less work needed.

Looks over designed and terrible to be honest....

You know why this would never happen aside from the obvious?

"kda and winrate check is available now" riot would never do that hell they removed the option of showing players ping just because they didnt want people toxic over it, you think theyll be ok with kdas? I wouldnt even be ok, id rather go in with blind faith in my team than see their shitty kda and think "great hes gunna feed" all game

we all know riot isn't going to do this, deep down within our hearts.item 3070 item 3073

So much wasted space though.

It's pleasant to look at at first, but it's hard not to notice all of the unnecessary open and unused space beneath the champion portraits on the sides, and between those and the champion selection window.

What we need is a clean, sleeker, more practical champion select with no wasted space and more information available.

omg that is epic!

cool thing but you would need to drop the animated stuff most of champions has no way of getting the animated stuff so riot would need to make it from scratch. skinns have no amimated stuff at all

next thing is the lack of tabs aboive the champ select

if riot would be to implement some parts of this i think they should chose only the shape of champion portrait and summoner spell's chat is kinda ugly many things are lacking and animation is unabtainable

besides that it would be nice

The concept is a really great idea. I would love a new champ select and loading screen so it's really dynamic. That would make it so much more appealing. Sure there are some flaws about the actual design that you have provided. But the concept, amazing.

I love the new style and animated portraits.

I completely disagree with making people's rank and KDA available in the load screen. As stated by other people, Riot removed pings from loading screens because people were being so toxic. I can't imagine the toxicity if people could easily see someone's rank and KDA ("gg bronzie only has a 1.1 KDA. Surrender 20.")

Loving this design; it really fits the new visual design of the UI and works pretty smoothly alongside the upcoming HUD.

If anything, I'd suggest excluding the splash art animations when loading, so that the extra processing doesn't hinder load times.

Perfect otherwise. Hope someone over at Riot's seen this.

I would like see a small change for how to select your runes & masteries but everything else is cool.

FourHands6/9/2015, 2:54:42 PM1 votes

looks good! Overall the UI needs to improve... become a little more trendy I guess

kolpy996/9/2015, 4:22:33 PM1 votes

this is awesome, but honestly, their champ select page now is pretty poorly optimized, i dont think that they could pull this off

This is aesthetically pleasing and a very wonderful design. However, considering that Riot is on the course of making League as inclusive as possible and also considering the performance limitations of Adobe Air, the Champ Select and Loading Screen would actually make the performance requirements higher for the game.

It's also been said a few times in this thread, but a ton of the champions do not have a motion graphic, so that wouldn't be all that good looking. The information isn't needed for me.

I think it's way too unnecessarily flashy and most of the aspects of it are just plain stupid. I know it's illogical but i just dont like it. And above all it's fake, there's no way to put a realistic remaining time counter just as much as there is to put a time counter on downloading programs.

there is another trending post on this, that the actual artist/ creator of this posted.

You all should check that out.

I'm confused. Are other LoL fans working on the same loading theme? I keep seeing it everywhere.
