+20-22 LP per win, -17-18 per loss. Why, and how is this fair?
Assuming I'm lucky enough to get a 50% winrate, that means I'd have to play about 50 games to reach promos for a single division. 50 games. And that's not happening. Winning lane is easy, and by winning I mean starting 2/0 or 3/1 on top of a cs lead. No problem. Because I'm smurfing on this account. But virtually every game, the other lanes simply lose a lot harder and faster than I can win mine. Because excuse me for "not carrying hard enough" for preventing top lane from starting 0/2 virtually every single game (watch replays and verify it for yourself.) Sadly, I'm not exaggerating. So I started playing top myself since playing safe was too fucking hard for some people, and I've SLIGHTLY better luck with that. But it's ridiculous how little my lead means in the bot lane anymore ever since those crit nerfs. Hell, I can't recall the last time bot lane was the determining factor in Winning a game for a team, more than the losing factor.
So with all that sad, can we PLEASE for the love of fucking god consider incorporating individual stats for LP gains in your shitty MMR algorithm? Solid k/p, most or 2nd most dmg on my team, etc would be some places to start. And don't get me wrong, it's not like I want to gut anyone's ability to carry a game, but it happens to quickly. The pace of the game needs to slow the fuck down again. Starting with that stupid rift herald and these useless towers (the latter of which finally got addressed after like 3-4 fucking seasons).
I would be more satisfied with simply not gaining LP vs losing so much in spite of my performance compared to the rest of my team. At least it would still encourage me to do my best even though we've started the game 0-4 in the first 7 minutes. Because that tells me "hey, you're likely gonna lose this one the way it's going, but at least you can redeem yourself." Never in my life has it required so much fucking effort to reach gold promos ONCE, which I "failed" because of an afk, and a support that would Literally do nothing but sit in the back despite our early game that I wanted to abuse (because of the aforementioned scenario). It's virtually hopeless and I don't blame the lower elo players anymore, unless they're the same afk janna in the back doing nothing but pressing E and spamming tornadoes. Unless I play several tiers above my elo with another smurf as a duo, it's fucking hopeless. The game spirals out of control before I get a chance to finish a single damn item. But sure, punish me anyway. All your system encourages me to do is mindlessly grind out games, letting the system's matchmaking eventually pair me with other strong players and carry me to promos. But that won't happen for several more games I imagine. Once upon a time my individual skill meant a difference because there was a mid-game to play through and towers didn't melt like butter so we had time to defend ourselves. ADC is only important if they start with like 5 kills early on. Otherwise, it doesn't mean shit.
