they need to make this apply to dominion and 3's as well. they are still matchmade games and you are still playing the champions of your choice. Maybe just a diminished return to make up for how short the games can be. because i dont play a lot of 5v5 i more do dominion and 3's because its quick and easy. then my champion masteries will be zero for when i do 5's? thats not right.
I feel like there should be masteries for 3v3s, but not for dominion or ARAM.
imo its a great indicator of which champions you should bring into a ranked game. I'd rather take a mastery level 5 Viktor than a totally random Katarina. Atleast I know the Viktor has played atleast like 10-20 games with their champion.
i guess dominion makes sense. But i do like to pay a lot of 3's on account of i work 3rd shift and its easy to find a game in the mornings for 3's when i don't have a lot of time. i just dont feel rewarded and it will make me seem like i don't play much when i do a ranked game even thought i know my match ups quite well....
10-20 games is meaningless.
