Why are my smartcast range indicators not working?

I set all my key binding to smartcast and turned on the "turn on quickcast range indicators", but it's still just quickcasting without indicators. This is really annoying since for the vast majority of my champions, I've played with range indicators for smartcast for over 3 years now X_X
