So I'm a little curious as to how I exactly got an S- compared to Annie. I understand Annie didn't have the best CS as she went for a lot of kills, but I'm just curious as to how I got the S-. I'm still fairly new to the game and am just playing around with thresh for fun and getting the hang of him. I got 4/4/20 and 42 cs. Annie went 31/4/8 w/ 146 cs and I believe she got an A. This was all in a 34 minute game.

InTheory1 votesWhether or not you get an S is only in comparision to other Thresh (as you) or other Annies (as herself). There are multiple factors that are taking into consideration, where only like your worst category may be ignored (e.g. supports may end up ignoring the CS factor for getting an S).
Reading your statistics, everyone in the whole game had bad vision scores - including annie. And her farming for that duration was only medium. That's two factors that disqualify her from receiving an S. I actually wonder how you got an S- with 9 wards placed even while having a support item. Did you not complete the quest? How is that even possible after 34 minutes?
The system can be frustrated sometimes, but it works as intended - because being extraordinarily good in one category does not balance out categories where you have been under average.
bluebrulezz1 votesWell as soon as Annie had enough damage to destroy the other team, all we did is big team fights mid and probably only went for baron once throughout the duration. Yeah I probably should've warded more, but most of the time everyone was just clumped up mid while Annie got all the kills, I stopped big threats by hooking them so they would die by the time they were unhooked, etc. I was curious got I got the S-, maybe thresh aren't very good or something? I heard he's someone who's overpowered if played well and I just don't know. It was an interesting and fun game but yeah. Thanks for the info.
