When is riot going to address this issue
Why is (example) gragas allowed to build 2 armor + hp items
early and completely negate an AD's damage until like 4 items. It's retarded and doesn't make sense. You can say but it's the scaling role! Yeah that's understandable but the fact that Gragas can e w q you super early with just those items I listed earlier and bring you to 20% hp, while you have BF Sword / AS Boots / Runaans and you only deal say 10% of his hp. You are forced to build damage throughout the entire game while Gragas (or any other tank w/e) gets to build straight armor and because of his %dmg and ridiculous bases, still basically 1hits you the entire game.
No
? Nice damage lol
No
? Good luck killing anything above 100 armor lol
No
? Nice trying surviving the 16 thornmails on the enemy team lol
No
? Nice dps dude lol
A generic build :
leaves literally no space for anything else that you would want to build because you NEED all those items.
Sure once you hit 6 items you'll be fine dealing with tanks but that's just assuming they don't hit you with one of their 500 cc abilities. lol. God forbid you get flash + whatever'd on at 45 minutes in and immediately lose because you get chain cc'd cause a 5k hp 300 armor tank got ontop of you from across the map.
Mages literally build void staff even if there isn't a ton of magic resist on the enemy team because it's % of bonus magic resist, not even %bonus.
is an 80 AP item and it only has to shred through 24 magic resist to be gold efficient based on base magic resist. Example : Orianna (and 66 other ranged champions) has 38.5 magic resist at level 18. 35% of 38.5 is 13.475 magic resist shred, and that's before your flat pen reduction. And that is only the mid laner we're talking about.
(Not the upgraded version) only applies to bonus armor, and it only becomes cost efficient once the person you are attacking has atleast 69 bonus armor while the upgraded versions
and
without their unique passives are only effective after 62 bonus armor .
, a popular item for AP mid laners, has 45 armor. All 3 of the last whisper variants would only be blocking a portion of that 45 armor (15.75 to be exact from the 35% bonus armor pen) + a bit more if the enemy mid laner brought armor in their runes. So just comparing the magic pen item to the armor pen item. The magic pen item benefits you when you are attacking any champion seeing as it's a % of their total magic resist vs any of the last whispers being only a % of bonus, so it's almost completely useless unless you are attacking a tank that has a lot of bonus armor because the armor you are shredding through against say a mid laner with zhonyas will be very negligible. In addition, Lord Dominik's Regards is insanely superior to Mortal Reminder because of that 20% bonus damage you would be losing out on otherwise. Mortal Reminder is only good in very few scenarios because 9/10 your top/jungle/whatever will have a bramble vest/thornmail and/or your mid laner will have a morellos, so it's not very useful whereas Void Staff will always be beneficial no matter what scenario.
Not only that but armor items are completely overloaded.
: 103.64% gold efficient without its passive, and it only gets better the more armor you have.
: Dirt cheap item that applies grievous wounds to anyone that auto attacks them. No reason for it to be so cheap and so good at the same time.
: Literally the most overloaded armor item. Reflects damage based on your armor, applies grievous wounds as well, AND slows your attack speed.
: A very close second for most overloaded armor item. Reduces critical damage by 20%. Almost every single ADC incorporates some sort of crit in their build and that gets reduced by a flat 20%. Also grants the slow on auto attack debuff. The active is fine but it's just coupled with the rest of this items benefits is kind of ridiculous.
