Champion Select Banning phase

On multiple accounts, there have been teammates that decide for themselves that someone else cannot play that champion because either it is new or it is reworked. So they decide to ban your champion and waste your time even queuing up for the practice of your champion. I wish there was a way that your teammates could not ban your champions because this has happened to me so often that I've recently just stopped playing as often and waited a week for those people to somewhat fade away so I can enjoy league. Please take this into consideration or at least give grace leave for players like that because I hate to leave queue because of something as dumb as that. I also understand that roster is huge but I've been playing this game for at least 9 years and everything is pretty much old to me so I really enjoy and look forward to what Riot does in the future to their game, you guys are an amazing company.

Depends, in normals or in ranked?

No thanks. No one wants you practicing a brand new champ in ranked. If you wanna do that play blind or draft. Also no one knows how to play against the new champ either so if the enemy gets to pick it and they're somewhat good at it, you can kiss whatever lane has it goodbye especially with Riot's history of on release stupidly op champions. Heck even in draft I might ban if I think a champ is disturbingly strong or has a high skill floor. I don't wanna waste 30 minutes of my life getting bodied or curb stomping by a champ no one knows how to play around.
