I love my poppy the way she is lol. I have about 240 games on my 2 accounts on her and play her in plat very successfully. Why!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Honestly, people won't touch her with a 10 foot pole because everyone is spoonfed the idea that she "sucks" because she is ugly like Urgot.
ikr im not sure why they are reworking her.. people think she sucks but in fact she is the strongest hypercarry in the game
Oh, look, it happened again.
Someone who literally does not care about the state of balance telling Riot not to rebalance a kit that is literally so broken, they said they would nerf her to the point of worthlessness if she ever showed up in LCS.
To put this a little more succinctly.
Poppy's Ult was envisioned as a way for her to force a 1v1 against an enemy champion.
Instead, it gets used on the target with the least CC/Damage and they she murders the rest of the team with impunity for 8 seconds.
She isn't filling her intended role, in fact, she's doing the exact opposite in a fashion that's pretty much the most awful, least fun to play against sort of way. Hence, she's broken.

She is being reworked because her kit is designed in a way that she can either be a bad champion with no stats to back up her great abilities, or flat-out OP. She cannot be balanced in her current state, so she is being reworked to be balanced.
I love playing Poppy for fun. Something about being such a little monster and running into teams to get a kill is fun. The only problem about her, personally, is her mana costs and clear early game.
Unless you have heard some new news about her rework that i have yet to see, i dont think it will happen anytime soon, maybe 2 years from now? or it will be like the mysterious Ao shin

OK so broken is a design flaw that none of the other champions posses, thus making her unique right? OK so bard traveling with a tunnel through walls is broken cuz no other champion can posses that abiltiy? His ult same? Fizz's playful trickster is a design flaw as well that is broken and shouldn't be in the game, it prevents not just 4 champions, but 5 from hitting him and towers. With max CDR its a 5 second cooldown. Please I could go on and on. Just tell me her kit is broken and no other champion in this game is.
From what I understand, Riot is keeping her wall slam and her 'more tanky the lower her HP is' mechanics, though they're remaking the Innate to be something more visually obvious. I'm betting it's going to be a shield of some kind.
Also there is counter play item wise too, you can get a qss if you keep getting ulted by her, if you have a banshee's then my ult won't work either, champs like soraka counter poppy really hard as she can silence me before I ult and would get rekt by the team for flanking then. No one thinks outside the box.

So we are talking about broken kits they have made so many this last month alone between fiora, darius, skarner, and morde, and there has been that master yi guy running around with his kit for sometime lol. That argument to me just isn't valid.
