The reason why Blind Pick should be removed from the game

From when I've started maining my fav. champion, the worst thing that could happen to me is no possibility to play it. Blind Pick does not offer picking your desired role (for example you can take Top and Jungle if you like playing Jax ), neither claiming your champion. You can sometimes find a person who's ego is over average and even if you claim at the start role, he is gonna take it no matter what could happen. Also, there is a "tradition" made by players at you have to say in the lobby chat in 0.0000001 sec your role before others do it and you can't do anything about it if you're too late and you can't play on the other position than both which people claimed.

It is unhealthy picking mode forcing you to type fast as flash if you want for example: TEST OUT THE NEW ASSASSINS WHICH YOU'VE RECENTLY FEATURED TO THE LIVE SERVERS and this is obviously obvious at about 90% (just random number, can't really tell how much of them but I'm sure it's a big number) of player base will try to test them out. What is point of keeping this mode in game if players can't be satisfied by it? We don't pay more RP when we play only one normal pick mode, this is not how it works Riot. You've recently add to draft the possibility to ban one of roles so you can't get it no matter what, then you tell at there will be no normal draft (I am not sure which was first, because at you post something in news X.XX.XXXX date doesn't mean you didn't make it earlier)?

Not to add that the both sides have unfair chances, if you can't see what your enemy is going to play, some of the champions like Rammus Shen may be least useful. I don't like the idea to pick something the opposite team can pick aswell, making the game boring and unsatisfactional.

It would be better if Normal Draft stayed on ALL live servers and Normal Blind be deleted. Remember Riot: At in your studio people have good experience with too big changes doesn't mean all players are the same. We can make a test and check which mode is more prefered by player base in a poll. I don't really want you to make big mistakes as you did in season 6, same as other people. You may think it's good idea, then it turns out to be the same like it was before.

"Riven Learn from your mistakes." It's what a champion from your game has teached me. You may consider basing on this quote because it's a good tip.

Also, higher play ratio of Blind Pick may increase ratio of Disco Nunu's (yes, they still exist), so watchout.

...or bring back teambuilder to replace blind pick.

The reason they can't remove blind pick, is that new players may not own enough champions to play draft.

The Assassin update is exactly where Blind Pick excels over Draft Pick!

With Draft Pick, you have to hope no one bans the Assassin you want to play, then you've got to hope the enemy team doesn't pick them, then you've got to hope you're soon enough up the pick order to get them. Blind Pick only has the last problem, making you more than 3x as likely to get the champion.

An additional reason to keep Blind Pick is so new players can actually play PvP. There are 20 champions required to play Draft (once the ban changes go through) and only 10 champions on the free rotation. New players aren't just going to buy the cheapest champions, they're going to buy the champions they tried in their free rotation, which includes Jinx at 6300 IP. Having them buy 10 champions (or more, if any champion they own is on the free rotation) before they can even play PvP is crazy talk.

I don't think Riot should remove Normal Draft, but removing Blind Pick would be a far worse change in my book.

Both should stay really. Btw they don't really need a poll they can just check which is played more, which is why they are doing this to start with

they can't really get rid of blind pick because of the number of champs required for draft. if they brought back teambuilder, fine, but they won't. blind needs to stay for those people that don't have the 15 required champs

What if I want to practice a champion that gets banned a lot in normal draft? Like Zed Yasuo Fizz Khazix etc. And don't answer custom games or co-op vs AI because there's no way you can learn a champion on a decent level for ranked by playing with bots.

Absolutely not. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean other hates is as well. I'm currently queuing up for a blind right now, and whether you care or not, I like it.

Blind Pick is usually the place to get some S' (Because the people who play it are extremely bad at the game, lul), yes, people will call your lane after you and still take it and not get banned... but it's usually a GREAT place to farm up to get your Mastery. But yes, it is a terrible idea and Draft should be FTP in. ;3

This post was made about a year ago....As for the issues, honestly Blind Pick is fine. If you wanna play a champion that you wanna play, lock them in and play them wherever the hell you want. If people don't like support Ahri then they can dodge. If you wanna play a specific role then there's a problem, but that can be solved with draft. If you want to play a specific CHAMPION that's where you go with blind pick. If you want both then you gotta get lucky.
