"Matchmaking is balanced, you're just too toxic"

A player on my team:

  • Has mostly losses on his match history with absolutely horrible KDA's when he's not playing adc.
  • Is autofilled to jungle.
  • Says nothing.
  • Mains Volibear.
  • Didn't pick Volibear (wasn't banned)
  • Picks Eve.
  • Soft ints 5 kills and then leaves the game.

A player on the enemy team:

  • Mains jungle.
  • Spams Jarvan IV.
  • Ganks every single lane repeatedly.
  • Snowballs the game.
  • ACTUALLY PLAYS THE GAME AS HE SHOULD IN RANKED SOLO QUEUE.

Nope, I'm not playing such a game. I open my lane and wait for the enemies to end the game. There is no coming back from that. No fucking way. Enemy Lux was 19/0 at 22:51, had fully stacked Mejai's, Rabadon's and Luden's and magic pen.

But I guess it's my fault we lost. I'm sorry I'm not good enough to hack into Eve's PC and play the game for him. I'm sorry i don't have 4 hands so I could play with 2 accounts at once. I'm sorry I'm not supernatural enough to invade Eve's mind so I could perhaps win my stupid promos.

League has reached peak comedy lately.

I had a game the other week where the jungler inted 4 times trying to give top a kill. They finally got a kill after all that pressure. The Jarvan on the other hand was all over the map pressuring the lanes, getting dragons, and rift herald.

**Our 1/3 Gnar **: Guys, this is winnable. We have late game.

Meanwhile, there are 4 bot and they're calling rift herald while mid is in respawn and our jungler is going top lane, yet again. So we ended up turtling the match in our base for 10 more minutes getting no objectives.

I don't know why these people still exist. Truly, I don't. I'm not someone who gives up easily, but there are some games you cannot win and recognizing that is part of growing. In certain situations the enemy team has to hard throw and get an AFK for you to make ground back, and that's not a reason to keep people in the match that don't want to be in it anymore.

I never have AFK'd out of frustration, but that was the first time I actually considered it in 6 years of consistent play time. Man did it take a while to recover from that tilt. They need to make surrendering easier, especially since matchups are getting more one sided, deaths are more consequential, and overall everything just has more damage.

You're doing a Player vs Player comparison? How does that prove anything?

I get the feeling that you did a whole lot of typing to your team that you're leaving out of this post. That title certainly seems like a response someone wrote to an ongoing rant.

I also don't get the point of the Eve vs Jarvan comparison. Everything except the Eve going afk isn't really relevant to anything. Yeah, you had a worse player. Oh well. Shit happens. Everyone has shitty players in their games, everyone has games where the enemy has shitty players, and everyone has games where they're the shitty player. That's the nature of team games.
