League Black Market "Hope to reach Riot decision makers"
Hello, with posting this I hope to reach out for the decision makers in Riot regarding this important matter ! I want to share an issue that bothers many of this community low elo and new players as I talked with them about it, this problem cause them to either get frustrated and leave the community, never play ranked or simply go AFK after 10 mins or less after the game starts. I'd also like to offer various legit and serious solutions that I'm sure it'll end this problem. I created this new "smurf" account to post this and prove that it's becoming extremely easy to create fake accounts and very fast to level it up, I have no problem if people want to create a fake account to test champions, different builds or anything else but the problem is....This is Never the case ! The main reason for creating smurf accounts now a days is for the Gaming Black Market, they create it to obtain the "Victorious Skin", not for them but for other players and this where the game turn from fun experience into a fraud and illegal money maker through the online black market. Going against Smurfs and their pre-made buddies happens more frequent than you can imagine, sometimes every couple of games or so ! Some may think that I'm just a bad player feeling down but I've added some of those players after game to know more about them and after awhile they say their real rank and that they smurf for this or that reason ! what makes it worse is you allow "pre-made friends" in solo Queue which is like a Welcome gesture for smurfs to carry their game friends and sponsors to the desired rank !
Some of these players level up their fake accounts and after the ranked season ends they sell it on ebay, craigslist or any other online site. Others offer to play with low elo players and "carry them" to the desired rank for certain amount of money/Skins/RP purchase of gifts. Others simply ask for the log in information and play for you till reach the desired rank for certain amount of money. and now online, there are sites that offer such black market business ! they advertise that they have master and challenger players who are ready to level up your account for a specific price for each tier ! and they have online and chat support now a days ! You pay 15-20 $ depends on the site and they reach you to Gold 5 in 2 weeks or so...which doesn't sound like a bad idea at all and I'm sure 1000s of new players will use these sites every year. such site are https://%%%%%%%%%%%%/ https://%%%%%%%%%%%%%/ https://www.boostroyal.com/ https://%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%/ I can go on with hundreds of many more site like that !
I talked with those smurfs before and I know they do it as a simple way of making extra cash on the side ! I know also it has been addressed in the "http://forums.na.leagueoflegends.com" with no one to help ! So it's Not just very unfair for honest low elo players No, it's now a method of fooling players as well as fooling Riot and it's staff... so I'm not sure if this is something you approve or not because seems you do Nothing about it...yet if the problem is hard to solve on your end I have some few solution that you can discuss and come up with conclusion and I'm sure No matter what is the solution will be, many will support you and Nothing will affect you in return
My ideas are:
1- The tournament and 400 RP experience: If the issue is the Victorious Skin, then it has be 5 seasons already and the victorious skin prizing has proved to be a source of pain to all low elo players than it's a source of fun, why not declare that we are changing that ?? Stop the Victorious Skin abuse ! if players want to prove themselves, they Don't need anything more than the Icons and Boarders to prove their victory and achievement. Just like what you did when you stopped the RP prizing for online tournaments and the 400 RP when reaching level 3 because you knew it was extremely and badly abused !
2- The Captain Gangplank experience: If you insist on the Victorious Skin then why not to try the Captain Gangplank skin experience, when you offered him for free as a prize for players who play him during the event and after the event it can be purchased from the store ! If you offered the Victorious Skin for free for G5 players, you can simply put it in the store for RP for anyone else, Regardless of which tier you'll ably to that skin even if it's A WHOLE NEW TIER that cost ridiculous amount of RP even for a limited time ! I promise you that This solution with stab the concept of the black market in a killing spot and will solve this problem forever !
3- The Judgement Kayle: If you want to give people a free prize skin for achieving something like G5, you can also give it to other Ranked players who achieved a certain number of wins during a season regardless of their rank like the Dominion experience or Give it to players who played More than certain numbers of games regardless of their tier but make sure to announce that earlier that players can try and achieve their goals with in a suitable time frame !!
I'm sure you also have many ideas to make this game fair and Not just a "Troll" experience, it's not justice at all to ask low elo players to level up in such community when playing many of their game against Diamond, Master and Challenger smurfs, or it'll be a task for Every player to find a High level friend to Carry him through ranked games in exchange of money or Skin gifts ! I've noticed now that some players have more than 10-20 smurf accounts and some of them stated that to me literally. I'm sure if this issue was not to be solved soon Many more players will start looking for the quick way out and pay around 15-20$ to reach gold in 2 weeks !
I hope what I said made sense and may be help the decision makers reach a solution before the season ends in a hope to end this ridiculous black market concept that fools Riot for money before it spoils new and low elo players gaming experience. Please help us make the game fun, not a tiring and frustrating experience with lots of stress and not just Only fun for High level elo players only.
