Provisional placement makes absolutely no sense to me.

Not really sure what other board this could go on, BUT.

Last season I was Silver 5. I just played my provisional series for S5 and went 7-3. That was 3 win streak, 1 loss, 1 win, 1 loss, 3 win streak 1 loss. I got placed in Bronze 1. When I started playing last year (beginning of S4) I played my provisional series and also went almost the exact same, 7-3. I remember having at least 1 three win streak maybe 2. Not sure if win streaks matter or how it works but...

Tell me how my friend who just started playing can go 6-4 in him provisional series, and get placed in SILVER 3.

RITO WTF. THIS MAKES NO SENSE.

I went 6-4 and got bronze 5. Go figure.

Makes no sense. I dont understand. And in the second win streak, i checked lol nexus and almost everyone was ranked high in silver, with at least 1 or 2 golds every game. And I carried every game except 1. Wtf?

If you we're ranked last season, it takes into account your rank from last season. If it's a fresh account doing provisionals for the first time, then it has no previous season to take into account. I'm unsure if it takes into account your play in normals, leveling 1-30, but I doubt it.

Went 2-8, Got Bronze V, but i'm finding it super easy to climb out atm, Since I started rank 2-8, Now i'm 17-16. 15 wins over 8 losses. Learned to carry, currently on a 5 win streak.
