4 DC'S In Ranked, and I still lose LP. Riot, you there?

The picture says it all, I just played a 2v4 for the sake of disconnects, and obviously it isn't a personal issue for internet if 4/10 disconnected completely.

Happened to me too. Looking for loss prevention or just some riot help. I was in game 2/3 in my promos and its saying if i leave the screen i cancel my promos..
138 CS at 26 minutes? 6/5/2 Playing Brand? This loss was 100% your fault. EDIT: if you can 5v5 you can 4v5. if you can 4v5 you can 3v5. if you can 3v5 you can 2v5. this is a 2v4. They are down one member,how did you not win?

Honestly up to a certain point this game is 3 parts skill 2 parts strategy and 5 parts pure dumb luck.
When winning is based from game to game on how many people actually connect on your team. And how many are trolling, drunk, or stoned out of their minds. There is a problem.

Last season I had 12 matches in a row with ALL AFKs/DC's on MY team (NONE of them were on the OTHER team... this is WITHOUT EXAGGERATION), thus, Solo-Queue is more of a Luck-Based Crap-Shoot than actual Skill-Levels. I stopped at Promos during Last Season & didn't seem to bother even attempting the Promos from Silver into Gold for some reason. Probably because Solo-Queue Ranked is the biggest Time-Waster ever invented in the entirety of all of human-history.
Riot doesn't care apparently. Nothing new
And because you're plat you think that you're entitled to a loss prevention that a Bronze or Silver would never have a chance at getting. Suck it up.
Just had 2. ! person never connected at all, the other connected at 16 minutes and dc'd 3 times again before the game was mercifully ended before 20 minutes.
Lost 18 lp for a game there was zero chance of winning.

this happens a lot in low elo too, u want me to collect a bunch of pics too and millions others and cry about losing IP?
this is why they need harsh penalties for people who afk in ranked. bans from ranked with even more lp lost for going afk. you should go - lp for going afk if that is the result of that player costing his/her team a win. so if they go to -20 lp they have to win just to get back to 0. a 50 point lp penalty for going afk is fair. on a 2nd offense they take 50 lp and you are unable to play ranked for 24 hours. 3rd offense is -75 lp and a 2 day from ranked. notice i said from ranked only. on a 4th offense 100 point lp penalty and a 4 day ban from ranked play only. while those other people on your team get loss forgiven. the penalties will make it were people will not duo q and fraud the loss forgiven. if u have a 5th offense a week long ban from ranked and a 100 point lp loss. i currently have had afks in 1/3 of my games this season. this issue needs to be dealt with now.

So I was affected by the DC'S as well, at around the same time (1 AM PST). This morning when I woke up i saw a reddit post that said the Comcast internet service had went down at this time, and a lot of western comcast users were disconnected, and could not reconnect again for about 20 minutes. Just wanted to let you guys know, it was Comcast's fault, not Riot's
I had a ranked gamed where If was just me as draven and top lane Darius, and we 2v5 won the ranked game. It was 2v5 from the get go. I just farmed and waited for catches wit Darius to fight. But draven can 1v2 bot lane easily regardless

Although it sucks, if Riot created loss prevention, lots of people might find a way to abuse the system which is something you wouldn't want
You think this is a big deal? In two days, I had 14 afkers total. I went from being nearly gold to Almost bronze. The rest of the games were trolls where people just picked double supports or double adcs or double junglers. There is nothing you can do. One of the people that I got said he was reported 26 times that day for trolling and he gets reported every day. Still hasn't been banned.

Another reason why duos are the most toxic thing in ranked.
That many AFKs indicates some major routing hub likely went down.
However, AFKs are a problem -especially those who never connect to the game at all.
Something needs to be done about AFKs, for ranked in particular.
What kills me is that apparently one of the main excuses used for Rioters that read the Boards is that
"Boards and Reddit, to be frank, take a lot of time to scan, read, sort through and answer. It's not so bad when there are a lot of us, but it can get overwhelming quickly as I am sure you can attest."
I find this to be laughable since there is a 'Best' column where you can see the most UPVOTED and talked about problems and topics. I've heard many a times that most of these teams at Riot are just straight up procrastinators and lazy.
