Ideas on how to carry in the botlane?

I'm currently Gold 1 trying to hit plat, I recently took a pretty long break from league and when I came back adcs were basically non existent. I main Jinx but my teams have lately been crying about me not playing in the meta by using crit adcs so I picked up Kai'sa. Anyways, I need some tips to hurry and get out of Gold while still being able to play in bot lane. Any ideas ??

The general consensus seems to be that only Marksmen that don't rely on crit are viable. Kai'sa, Lucian, Ezreal, Kalista etc.

Also, I don't think crit Marksmen are as bad as everyone is making them out to be. Jinx can still work. You just have to survive the early game.
