Dear Riot, Please bring back Ranked 5s!

Dear Riot,

I understand with the new dynamic que you can play with 4 of your other friends and do ranked. But it will now always directly affect your solo que rating. And it also limits you to who you want to play with! Now you can't have create a team with a troll name and have a hell of a time trying to climb your team to the top with 5 supports. Instead you have to risk it all on your solo que rank, with no exciting team name to represent. I understand you guys love to ruin a good time, but why completely demolish it? Our circle of friends always look forward to ranked 5's on the weekend. And we are all various ranks, and now we are forced to do normals...what are those again? It's all about bringing home the gold medal with some ranked 5s. Not another number by your "total normal wins". Please riot, I beg you, bring back ranked 5's!

Riot, it was a fail delete ranked team. Some people play LOL only for that and for example, i dont want my elo changes for my team

Ranked 5's were just an excuse for people to get diamond with any mmr friends then add people and sell spots for elo.

My circle of league friends are in the same boat. most of us really only played league when we had enough people getting on to be able to play ranked 5s. now where forced to dynamic que, which has no where close to same feeling or intensity. I do like the idea of a 'true solo que', because ive never liked the idea of "lets duo" to be able to climb. The new champ select is also great, but please bring back ranked 5s!!

They've said they're gonna release a solo play only solo queue sometime soon. The current dynamic queue will be the evolution of ranked teams. I can understand it doesn't appeal to 5s teams as much as before as it still limits who you can play with with it rating range limitation. But I guess you could always just play norms.

The reason they're setting it up this way with solo queue and dynamic queue is to appeal as to as many players as possible. There is a large sect of players that want solo queue to remain a reflection of individual ability.

Also because ranked team queue population in smaller regions lead to only horrible queue times and/ or imbalanced matches.

They want dynamic queue because Riot wants a new place where players can naturally find more new similar skilled friends to play with. Old solo queue duo queue limitation and ranked teams only wasn't great at this and created a boundary of ever finding 5 similar skilled players for a truly great lol experience.

There will always be normal draft mode though which works decently...

So official ranked teams dies due to lowest popularity instead of solo queue... It makes sense to me from a logical perspective.

Hopefully when the solo queue is split out of dynamic queue dynamic queue feels great as a ranked team mode.
