The Theory of Everything (There and Back Again)
Dear summoners community, RIOT GAMES, or as people always call you: RITO!
I'm nothing more just one of the many active players on EUNE, but I wanna tell you something, which you might find interesting or at least worth reading. You know it's all about community and stuff. You think i might be wrong but this article, well most of it, focusing on champions and playstyles that's why I put it below this section.
**FOR THE GAME, FROM THE GAME **
First of all you need to know some thing about me if you're planning to understand my goal. I have many accounts even in my own region which means I can see how the community changes from the very beggning to a much higher skilloriented state of the game where the professionals are. I like to play champions that barely noone plays or can play properly anymore. Not because they are bad, but because summoners have other options to fulfill their team's missing roles. So even if I accept the concept that my choices aren't the wrong or bad ones they aren't good either. They require much more (how you call it) SKILL to understand their purpose. My goal is (the most significant one) in this competitive game called League of Legends, to bring balance to the Force and the Fields of Justice despite that it's a fresh new let's say lvl 30 summoner or as a mentioned a veteran one. Why am I doing this? What do I really want? I want from all summoners to enjoy more this game and do not ragequit or flame for nothing. One method to achieve that is to pay attention to everyone's needs. How could you do that? Change the community. But, Sir, that's impossible! So what now? Balance each aspects of the game you created.
OK. Hah. If you're still with me, here comes the sirious part.
CHANGE IS GOOD (also "you will remember Yorick Mori!")
Stacking lifesteal isn't a thing that pro players, summoners do, because simply they don't need it, they have better things to rely on - i would call it teamwork, but you might torture me if I would say such nonsense. So get back to the point. If I were you I would disable to build more than 1 lifesteal item per summoner. Same goes with GA. No team needs to build 3 or more from it. But again these changes wouldn't affect professional gameplay. I only recommend to face with it because there are so little fresh new accounts on EUNE and the smurfs basically destroy their first(ish) game experience. Same goes above lvl 30, where nowadays 7 out of 10 games has at least one afker as a member of team - which is aren't good either.
Let's take a look at champions (in alphabetical order). I will focus on the most significant things which might cause to forget something you may find important so please do not blame me for it.
- I would say the nerf on her Q-E combo was a really good procedure to make her (or the summoner) think before click. Well done. You need to do this with many others.
- This champ requires so much skill it deserves to be buffed. Nerfed. Or.. whatever. Played with another style. His ult can be a gamechanging thing but doesn't need to add that much AD and damage resistance. He doesn't need it. I would decrease these values.. one of them or maybe both. In return his E should deserve increased healing for allies or maybe lesser mana cost. I'm not so sure about it, since he already has a really good disengage with Q and W. Hm. I lost myself with that one. All I know that he's in a really strange spot right now and a certain community (like me) wants to see him more.
- ...
- I always tought that she is a very powerful girl, with much more talent than Brand could ever imagine. Yet I thought she needs some serious nerfs... until I saw the recent LCS games. Man, if they play her that way I would say she is completely fine. Forget about what I said.
- This madafaka needs to be redefined. Not because he's weak or strong but because everyone plays him.. it for no reason. His/its skillset should change for.. a Brighter Tomorrow! The splash art is new but the icons remain the same. He/it has too much base damage, AP/AD ratios, yet he/it cannot be played somewhere else just as a MAIN support. I would see him as a top/mid laner or even as a jungler. But right now he's just too annoying.. and has little to no downside misusing his/its abilities. Missed a Q? Not a problem. You can run away. Can't do that? Knock them up in the air. Still chasing you? What are you waiting for, use your ult!
- I understand the idea to buff her and let her return back to the game. But that's too much. Noone can handle her E anymore. That 40% amplification can destroy any tanky jungler (with little moblility) who decide to gank her lane.
- ...
- As far as I know everyone starts with the same runepage for her. Maxed and mixed damage with little to no MR. Yet they cannot achieve a thing (well, that's not actually true). This lady is so fragile.. without her ult she can only rely on the refresh on her W if she gets kills or assists to survive in early game. While Shaco can build himself 5-6 DMG items depending on situations, she hasn't got that luxury. She can be played tanky as the current meta recommend it but in that case she's just delaying her own fate. Without a nearby teammate she cannot outsmart anyone just running around again and again in circles. I would say same goes with ELISE, but Elise has or should have a very good early game impact. But building her (Elise) tanky either won't change a thing.
- He's viable both mid and top and I always found him a little bit too.. Heimer. Without his turrets he can be easily defeated but in the lane where he naturally is, he's just an undestructible fortress. Only really mobile champs have the chance to catch him. I think he needs a buff and a nerf at the same time - like you did with so many others.
- This is a hard thing to realise even myself, because I actually like her. A lot. Such booty.. WOW. But too many players find her a safe pick for top lane. She can be built as a tank still does enough DMG to survive on her own. I think maybe if the Q's reset would have limits. Let's say 3 or 4 times in a row. I don't know. But following this pattern a lot of resets could have been changed by now i.e. Yasuo's E...
- ...
- ...
- Her Q has a really short hitbox compare to others, like Morgana. She has only one ability that can be cast on a miniwave. I won't say increase the DMG on it or make the hitbox wider. I just say that there are many summoners who want to play her elsewhere. Let's say as a midder. Take care of that.
- ...
- She is too mobile. I know I'm going to hell for this but man?! Have you ever seen a summoner who said something like that: "I wanna play Diana above Katarina! Pls let me! Diana or afk!" Of course you not, because Katarina is a huge lane bully and a very safe pick at the same time. She can fulfill her role by any circumstances, if (IF) her team engages first. If she's behind let's go for a tour around the map and problem solved. I think the only way to make her more skill (yes, I said SKILL) reliant is to make sure, one of her basic abilities won't reset after she gets a kill/assist. Again, do not hate me for it.
- Really hard again. She's a huge mid game bully but most of the time she cannot carry alone. Yet i think she needs a nerf. Not from her DMG but from her mobility. Maybe a lesser range on her W could solve that issue. Hm. I only mention her because KASSADIN got nerfed recently and I think I cannot compare them anymore... You've got me RIOT.
- I'm not gonna go into details. I simple do not like him. He can throw a single Q to the wave/enemy champ if he decides to gank and walk away if he missed like nothing happened. There's a thing called "Lee Syndrome", typically in lower level gameplays when people want to follow up their first Q even if they got killed or so. I think the mobility (again) is the key that makes him so popular and the second Q's executioner DMG. Although he is really well designed as a champion I want to see other junglers beside J4 and Lee. Maybe a more energy consume on his kit would solve the problem, and people would start to actually use his passive to regain it in combat. That will be awesome! More consumed energy on ability use and more regain when Lee decides to basic attack.
- ...
- Alias the starter pack for everyone. The one man army itself. Little to know expectation/information about the game? You want to achieve early game dominance.. maybe success? Go for him! He's as cheap as.. as a MASTER YI. You don't wanna listen your teammates, just becoming untargetable and beat the sh*t out of everyone? Not a problem! I've seen so many Yis in the lower levels I've learned one thing about him. His true identity. He doesn't require actual skill to be played (let's say) well. I understand now that's why the "MASTER" marker stands for in his name. Besides that he offers too much utility without any contradiction. I know he's not "a thing" again as I said above 30+ levels, but he can ruin everyone's first game experience who wants to play i.e. Kayle, Ashe, Sivir, Nunu, Soraka.. or something comparable to them. Too much passive on his abilities. I think he can be easily done if someone decides to remove one thing about his kit: his W's DMG reduction. You could say I cannot be that cruel. But I can! YES! What a sweet revenge it would be!
- The easiest way to make her more playable is to make her Q not last forever. In this specific scenario the CD on her Q could be less. That's it. That's what most players want. Why? Because I recognise when I see a MORGANA main at any circumstances. They have so much different playstyles than any of us. They just walk toward you casting their abilities, stand back and waiting for a miracle - which can occur anytime since 3 seconds equals eternity in this game. (Even if they play someone else (like Janna) the Morganism still can be spotted easily just by looking at them.) I want to change this - the playstyle, mostly. Cuz why not?! But if I do something like that, the whole pool-thing-under-your-feet would become useless as well. Hm. Another problem my concept needs to encounter. Hm.
- I really enjoyed how NIDALEE changed from a notorious Q caster to something else. It was great. I could say one of the best things since Yasuo got nerfed. But the way she's right now.. definitely needs to change. Maybe if she get an all time mana bar, like Jayce...
- ...
- My (not the only) problem is with her, that she can have as many tunnels as she wants at once. BUT WHY? Why should the Summors Rift look like if it was always 'under constraction'?
- Huh. I don't think I should introduce her. She has good escape, great mobility, superior DMG. A shield that scales with AD (!) and 2 different CC plus an executioner's move. Oh and she never heard about mana or any kind of resource. Really annoying. I would say more CD on one or more of her kit should fix this. Probably.
- He has one of the best teamfight capabilities with his E. The only downside of it that he can only initialize once. (YOIO) After that he's literally dead. He cannot dash away nor outsmart/outsustain his enemies, just fight till the end - like real men do. The best way to use his full potential is to split up from the team and join them later (when they're in trouble) since he has his ult. The problem with this concept is, that he has very poor kit to push other lanes and/or achieve objects. I mean what could he do? Farm minions with his Q? That's way too slow. And if he finds a turret.. starting to hit it with AA-s? C'mon! When he is in the middle of a teamfight, he won't use his ult because he can't. He gets interrupted or his target dies. Even if you build a lot of AP you cannot prevent to one-shot your team's squishies. Overall a little buff could help him: i.e. when his ult got interrupted or the teammate dies it should have been on a lesser CD.
- Passive should've had limits and I'm looking at the stealth part.
- Definitely needs a rework. Ult is his greatest weakness. People always underestimate him, but he can do some sirious DMG if played correctly let's say as a top laner. He can stack Tear as a god, outrunning Ezreal with it for sure. But! If he's a ranged champ (as he obviously is) than why the heck should he transfer himself into a position what he cannot defend? MIND=BLOWN.
- Too powerful. Did I mentioned earlier that Malph's ult, "Unstoppable Force" can be stopped? Why? And VI's ult why not? Heh. Probably nobody knows the answer. But I wanna play her. Her story, her attitude, everything about her is great. Why, why is she so popular these days? Why does she have a point-click ult that nobody can interrupt? I want to nerf her to the ground. Then she will be mine. And mine alone.
- OP passive. He's like Garen. Without any DMG items he can easily get you with W plus passive. I'm running out of ideas but this definitely needs to be changed. For the glory of TEEMO, of course. Somehow. Somewhere. Over the rainbow..
- Since he got released I hate him more than any others. There's not much to say about it... But we aren't here to declare a sentence. We are here to question everything. To question again: why is he so hard to lane against? Let's see. His story is interesting, the guy on the screen and the splash art is handsome as well. And human. (Do not forget about it!) Not some kind of childish-little-fluffy-yordle-thingy. Overall, a well designed character at first look. But when it comes the part when you list his abilities?! Nah. I don't know what was the developer's original concept to release him as he was at first sight but I assume TEEMO's shrooms has something to do with it. He got nerfed again and again yet he's still a powerful opponent. My friend once had an idea: to make his abilities linked with his passive. In that way when he has more "stacks" of flow he could do more DMG based on how much he has - just like Renekton. But that was a long time ago. Champions, game styles, trinkets and maps changed. Today I think if he could only use E a limited times that will be more than enough for the community. Maybe.
- His passive isn't that useful. It can be easily smite down with a trailblazer. Since he regain health from his blobs and the cost of his casting are also health, he is always somewhat weaker than any of his opponents. He cannot do any DMG without losing his life force - or most of it. The problem is the method he gains his HP back nothing comparable to the way he's losing it. He hasn't got any lifesteal like Aatrox, nor an ult like Mundo, which makes him really difficult to play correctly. Also he needs health and AP to fulfill his (I would say) destiny.. which can be hard to itemize without the mana part.

TO THE ARENA!
That's it. My work here is done. If anyone will ever notice and ask me in the future, "hey dude, what about ADCs? How could you forget them" I will say "not my role". First, because it's true and second, cuz a marksman/markswoman always should stick to his/her team. If one of them is "out of the others" I hope RIOT will realise ASAP like they did with
.
Anyways have a nice day and "face the future!".
