Passive gives bonus mr and armor, passive gives warmogs, has big damage output, out speeds everyone with q, and once he catches up to you its impossible to get out. Can anyone explain to me how im supposed to outplay him? Am i missing something here or is he just insanely over tuned?
Garen loses most lanes
He gets it slowly if he only kills minions.
Also,
There are more lanes that garen loses than ones he wins by a pretty large margin.

Even Illaoi wins vs Garen (more relevant since it is in the meta).
The only problem with Garen is when YOU aren't the person Top laning vs him, and someone else decides to take a trading champ with a poor mobility/sustain kit.
I just played Singed into Garen. He didn't stand a chance.
