I have been teamed with people who have never played sup or jungle because auto fill put them in that roll, yes I understand the queue time is shorter with it but not everyone can play every roll, I don't think Auto fill is the best idea. Maybe there is another way to shorten the timer
this is their way of making you know other roles.
It's essentially how it was before when you had to pref roles and first pick was important.
People need to learn the roles, that's part of ranked.
I'm sure every1 at riot is still wondering how to make support more appealing to play.
If riot's goal is to make people learn support then this is not the way. The ADC role is already shit right now, so making people who do not play support play support against a potential support main, adc main, or worst a duo is freelow for the enemy team, and toxic to adc mains. Cannot explain how many times i have gotten an auto-fill support and got rolled over in lane because my support is trolling because they are salty they got support.
