Can Poppy Q please hit in a small area around her?

I understand that Poppy's Q is meant to be combo'd with E, but the fact that Q is so unreliable without a stun while still being a relatively weak skill really sucks. Someone can be dancing around you and regardless of how close they are, if you miss even by a little, they won't be hit because the shockwave range begins past Poppy's model. If this attack didn't only hit in front of Poppy, but also in a tiny ring around her to assure nearby enemies would be hit, that would make the ability a lot better without giving her any more 'range' to abuse the ability with.

Poppy Any discussion?

In melee matchups try using it in a hit n' run style. For example, your opponent decides he wants to walk up and trade with you. As he gets close, AA, Q and then back off, often your opponent will continue to follow you and step into the second hit. If you have the opportunity, proc your shield on a minion and then you can attempt this trade without taking nearly as much damage.

Another tip is to proc your passive with an AA on your opponent, and if they attempt to go step on the shield, walk up and Q the shield. They will take at least 1 if not both hits of your Q without any real loss for you.

It's mainly for waveclear and situational extra damage if you manage to catch someone who is immobilized in some way. If it was easier to hit, it would have less damage. It is not meant to always be able to be used to its fullest extent. It has moments.

the health percent damage needs to scale with rank or level. 6% or 12% total. is not a lot late game. I mean its AD it aint like its vaynes true damage. even against a squishy about half of that will be gone. 6% damage is low. it needs to start at 5% and go up to 10% on 5 ranks.
