I don't really understand how this works.... I win 5/10 provisional games and I got placed in bronze 2???? Like what... I thought I was gonna get at least placed low silver. Just confused how my buddy won 7/10 and got placed in gold and I get placed in bronze 2. Just hopeing someone can explain why i got placed so low. thanks
BTW this isn't a rant ill definetly get out of bronze just looking for an explanation from the community on why i got placed so low

ballatwenty41 votesThere are so many variables that affect your placement, it's not just a flat number given for wins & losses. Your rank & your friend's rank from the previous season were most likely different so you played against different levels of opponents & had different levels of teammates. He also won more games. If you deserve to be placed higher, you will have a higher MMR and will gain more LP for winning future games which will allow you to climb faster.
