Balance ideas for Elise

It seems when it comes to balancing Elise, there's very few options considering they either have to give her a full rework or manage the many abilities that can make her over-powered if buffed too much. I have some proposals that might bring her back without changing too much like:

  1. Remove her heal passive on her spider form and replace with a mini version Xerath's old passive
  2. Give her E in human form an AP ratio
  3. Shift all her power to late game
  4. Make her Q in spider form apply on hit effects

If anyone else has any ideas, please feel free to share I'm interested in what other people think should be done to help the Spider QueenElise

Edit: I missed a problem and that was she has no core identity. I would suggest she be a duelist in the sense that she has a lot going for her in that aspect because if they went with assassin, it wouldn't fit very well for her kit

They keep tweaking and shifting but honestly she just needs faster clear period. There's no other way around it if she can't clear faster she'll never be viable.

I loved nid so I got Elise when she came out due to similar kits and I loved her as well but now I just play Xin jungle, or Yi if he's banned but they just don't have the same charm as the beautiful Elise. They're more like generic well guess it'll have to do for now since they're cheap IP champs.

It's difficult to offer Suggestions, unless people can agree on a core Identity for her. I have no Idea if she is suppose to be an Assassin, or a mage, or a Duelist, or a tank. Most of the work so far, as well as some suggestions are countered with complaints about it not addressing her core problem. Neglecting to mention what her core problem is. Cause I think the only core problem she has is a lack of a strong identity.

If she gets a large scale rework. I would like to see her Spiderlings become a more quintessential part of her kit. Particularly something to be feared if she could amass a good number of them. (Come to think of it, I don't think we have a champion with a swarm Identity. Perhaps the next champ will be an undead Zombie who's body acts as a killer Bee hive.)

Hey there, Maybe you should mention, what the passive of old Xerath was, not everyone (like me) know that. So basically switching the Heal for Armor [both scaling with Ability Power]. Personly I dont think the Armor would represent a Spideridentity better per se because Spiders do "drain food" [life] from their victims. Giving her E an AP Ratio... you mean the Bonus Damage/Heal from Rappel? As for me I dont like the "use Rappel agressivly or you dont get this bonus" at all :/ Shifting Power to her late game isnt that wrong imo.

I think Elise mostly needs an Identity rework/rethought. Having this, it would be easier to decide how (much) to change her abilities etc.
