What is the ping in Detroit for NA? Are there plans of an East Coast server? Thanks in advance!

Hi all

Michigan just passed Cannabis legalization -- was already interested in moving to Detroit as it is artist-central now am all more excited.

Am interested to know the avg. ms or ping of players there and also if anyone knows this what are the most affordable places hooked up to Google Fiber in the city??

Edit: Currently living in Durham NC getting 38 ms on AT&T U-verse so would expect something like 19 without Google Fiber but would be all too excited to hear of 8-11 ms

well 1st off the server for NA is in chicago there is no east/west coast server.

2ndly ping can be effected by many things not just riots servers

3rd im 1400 miles from the server in chicago and play on wifi and i have steady 42 ping with no lag issues

I get 78 ping in Alaska. I haven't noticed a difference from that jump. You're only going to notice a slight difference if you're a pro player.

Before Riot moved the servers from Seattle to Chicago, I got 40 ping.

You shouldn't notice a huge difference as long as you're playing on a high speed connection. Distance only matters so much. Your connection type and the internet package you have is what really matters.
