Do higher graaphical settings use more bandwith?

Chief Orion··1 votes·387 views

Basically, I've got a new computer with a GTX 960 and I don't think it does, but if I use ultra settings will it use more bandwith? Also, how much - roughly - does one game use in terms of megabytes?

Replies much appreciated, thanks.

No, the data already exists, if you turn the graphics up or not just determines whether or not your GPU draws them on screen.

I had to use my phone for internet for a bit and played a couple games, and the games seemed to take between 1 and 2 MB if I recall correctly. You'll want to check your data and play a match and check again to verify how much.

Turn them graphics all the way up, though. No worry about bandwidth there.

The rendering of this game's graphics is done entirely by your own computer.

Your connection to Riot server handles the communication between your inputs and what you and everyone else is doing in the game.

Just how it always worked. Til recently. I think some console games are loading some of that graphic processing work on their cloud servers. Or they were supposed to this generation? I rarely touch the consoles.
