Need Help - Losing Streak - Need Advice

So, I have been on a losing streak. Every game I have been trying to improve my work as a player. I have good KDA, but that means very little. With the exception of my latest game(got a really bad phone call in loading screen and was partially in tears the entire game), what could I do to improve myself? I am working on warding. I am using pings, calling MIA, following the mid, roaming to other lanes when I can, and playing smart to reduce my deaths. I know I can work on my CS, but for being in Bronze 5, that is not the killer as to what I am doing wrong.

Any advice is welcomed. I need it.

  1. You actually have average KDA. Usually mains break 3.0 KDA but you only have 2.89 on Ekko. This is especially worrying because you are getting a 2.89 KDA on your main in bronze 5.

  2. You are in an elo where ppl have no idea what they are doing. If you get stomped in bronze 5 then maybe you belong there.

  3. This one is from a diamond friend that helped me: drop all champs except 1-2 and a support. For you I recommend you play only Ekko and 1 support (for autofill). I recommend Braum since you have really high KDA with him. Queue mid/top and play Ekko only unless you get autofilled, at which point you play your 1 chosen support. You need to drastically reduce your champion pool. I myself have trouble with this, it takes discipline.

  4. Always think 2 questions before you go in: 1. where is the enemy jungler and 2. what do I get out of this?

  5. If you are fed, never be the first to dive unless you can 2 for 1, since you have all the gold on your team.

The feels. I can carry all day with Vi (I have around 78% winrate with her) or Ahri/Syndra (Both above 60). But, theres always those games you can't win, no matter how good you are. Bot lane might get fed, top lane might, they might group five and take objectives before your team can group, etc. Bronze/Silver is literally 50/50 (Which is why I'm stuck right now) and people are smurfing more and more this season. Just hope you get the good team and don't get the bad one. All that really works to climb. For yourself? Pick a small champ pool (I stick to about 4-6) and focus on them. Learn their mechanics, their playstyle, build paths, etc. Ward, buy controls, never chase, don't get greedy, don't do teamfights you know you can't win, roam whenever you can if you're a mid/top, and just try to stick to the meta for an easy climb. Oh, and the most important tip? Farm. Farming > Kills.

don't chase kills think about what you can do whenever you're ahead to help your team get ahead think about how to end the game at every point

Play actually helpful champions that are easy like annie that have aoe cc to carry fights. Also the games pretty 50/50 right now until mid season and all the boosted/dynamic que players play enough games. Im smurfing getting 50/50 games rofl.

Losing streaks happen. All the time. Here is some contriversal advice to deal with them.

Stop playing.

I am not trying to be a troll here. Trying to play through a losing streak is disasterous. Your LP will tank. Demotions will happen and each loss only pushes you further and further away from the proper mentallity to win.

Your best bet is to just stop playing for a day or two and try again another day.
